You come to listen to Rory, but of course you never fail to notice his virtual equals on Bass and Drums. I mean, as with Hendrix. the band had to be tight and Exceptionally good to give Rory the platform to let loose on lead guitar. I don't think Ireland (or Wales!) did then or even does now fully realise what it had under its own roof as we all chased after and continue to chase after the legends of other nations, Hendrix, Rolling Stones, The Doors, The Who etc etc... Rod deAth, a drummer you need to keep eyes on!

Please, don’t compare Hendrix to this. Hendrix was an inspiration to everyone after him. Hendrix was the beginning

He used to come to my nearest city, Sheffield in England, every year. As soon as I was old enough, I went to see him & the band, every year. What a huge talent he had. So many years later, I still really miss him. Rory Gallagher, who art playing great blues in Heaven... You know the rest.

Der schlechteste Musikfilm überhaupt! Wird Rory und der Band in keinster Weise gerecht. Allein schon die Vier Hemden, die er bei diesem einen Lied anhat. Die Gesangspassagen sind herausgeschnitten, die vielen Schnitte..... aaaaah, ich krieg 'ne Krise!

Saw Rory at least 10 times in Germany, Australia & wherever in Europe I could get to in my teens in the 70ties ! Never forget😢
