It’s honestly a way smoother process. I’ve tried the fishing line , it was just way too time consuming. With the heat those letters fall right off!

Yes mine does start with the lifter tick, but as the engine warms up it fades away. I heard it’s a notorious problem on these Chevy Trucks

All fords? I have a ford 500 and the ebrake isnt working. I push it down, i hear it click, but car still moves. Any ideas?

it can either be the mechanism itself, a broken cable or possibly an issue with the caliper. Id have to see it in person to give an exact diagnosis.

@@mikeygaribaldo_8322 any obstructions in the line? also try pulling the lever as far up as you can then releasing it down. possibly try lubricating the mechanism

How did you get it to burnout I have a caprice put the g8 center console and shifter have manual mode it’s tuned and it won’t do a burnout

There’s a fuse that needs to be pulled that controls the ABS and traction control, idk which it is but you can google it.

No fuse, if you hold the traction button for 10 seconds the stabiltrak turns off and it will spin.

What year is your caprice? For mine, i put it into sport mode and held the traction control button for 10 seconds. Then i just stepped on the brake and hit the gas. Also note that it will not burn out if you are low on gas, at least for my car it wouldn't.

Where did you buy the glass replacement? I want just the glass with the black plastic round the edge of mirror and I am having hard time finding it. It's either just the glass or the entire mirror component
