How To Remove Emergency Parking Brake Cable From Ford Vehicles

All fords? I have a ford 500 and the ebrake isnt working. I push it down, i hear it click, but car still moves. Any ideas?

I also have a ford 500 but my issue is that it’s stuck on the ebrake and can’t take it off. What do I do?

it can either be the mechanism itself, a broken cable or possibly an issue with the caliper. Id have to see it in person to give an exact diagnosis.

@@mikeygaribaldo_8322 any obstructions in the line? also try pulling the lever as far up as you can then releasing it down. possibly try lubricating the mechanism

@OneWayNiko no obstruction what’s so ever but I have pushed back the pedal and release mayn’t times before but unfortunately this time it’s stuck
