Clint reminds me of my 86 y.o. father, a hardcore Army vet , he is exactly the way Walt and Martin act in this scene. My father has nicknames for everyone and it's funny watching the look of shock on people's faces. It was a different time, back when people didn't have such tender feelings. I'm 63 and I catch myself doing it every now and then but it's usually coworkers who I've known for a long time.

The barber shop. A dying meeting place where men can be natural men. No inhibitions. Try giving a kid man lessons today. There are few left who even know what being a man is like.

Weird, don’t remember this movie having so much racist and derogatory moments. Low hanging fruit for such an iconic actor like Eastwood.

I have to be careful watching that scene while having my 'Evening Beverage.' I almost chocked my self into the afterlife after watching this clip - and I've seen this several times. I'm quite sure that is how I will leave this life and then after explain what happened to Saint Peter. He'll probably use language that will get himself in trouble with the boss. At lease I would 'Go in Style', I suppose.

Reminds me so much of my grandpa and how he would take like this back and forth like this with his friends joking around like this with each other and poking fun at each other's race and not behaving like a bunch of babies when someone would take a shot at each other people did not get serious about this stuff back then people today need to grow up get with the the program and quit being a bunch of over grown idiots

Sure they have manly qualities, but being insecure enough to need a construction job (so that others don't consider you one of those engineer or shoesalesman pussies) or bitching about people behind their back, those ain't what I consider masculine virtues.

you know i never really thought about it but there really is a certain way you gotta talk to blokes. If you spend all your time talking with people your age be it gangsters of just people online its not the same as talking to older dudes on the job. Bit different in England to America but same shit, I guess I just picked it up over time.
