Thanks I finally understand a lot of my day to day, still I cannot gain much fat even eating a lot, but some days feel heavier than others I’m just glad to know that it isn’t depression or something like that, I can also notice that d**s like grass often hit you very different in comparison to others. I’m sure there a correlation in between.

Surprised no one mentions pasta for bulking, pasta is so easy to eat, but has so many calories my favorite bulking meal is having pasta with rao’s vodka sauce or Prego Alfredo sauce very easily 1000-1500 calorie meal for dirt dirt cheap with the penne pasta.

potatoes are my top go to for carbs, because I'm allergic to rice. Pumpkin I'll have to give a try, personally I don't really like or dislike green or yellow squash. My other sources are pasta, oats, or quinoa.

@@kenz6502unless you’re a weightlifter or powerlifter you probably don’t need to specifically isolate it as you’ll get plenty of it from other compound exercises but otherwise 45 degree back extensions, back extensions on ghd, reverse hypers, good mornings are good to isolate it

If I had to pick 3 personally, i’d go with pullups, some kind of row, one with cables and one without. I really want to like chest supported rows but they just feel so uncomfortable and every time I try to grind them out I just kind of think about how much discomfort i’m in. Is there anything I can do to fix that? It just feels like there’s no room to actually breathe during them, so i’ve been subbing in inverted rows, but those are hard to actually progressively overload with.

I find front squats and heel raised high bar back squats target the quads perfectly, I never do low bar back squats. I also keep the rep range at 8 or above and focus on mastering the weight before moving on.
