This is such a great channel! I'm in my 30's so wasn't around during the band's 80s peak but I'm a nutty boy through and though and loving watching all these tv appearances. Thanks for sharing!

This is from the Saturday morning kids TV show, Number 73. I never understood why Madness fans disliked this cover so much. I love it. Released as a single during early ‘86. Huge flop 😢

Out of all the 2Tone groups the Bodysnatchers were the worst. Every song sounded the same and their musicianship was mediocre. Gimme the Selector, Bad Manners, the Beat etc any day!

is this version as bad as it sounds? Don't think they really understood the cleverness of the production of the original. fix? Lions after slumber.

Great that a band knew what they wanted from the off....and not been pushed and used by the snides in the record industry.

Well, it was an additional option and the moped itself had some problems, but yes, you could buy a car with a moped stored in the trunk(or under the trunk's floor-I don't remember that well)

There is no Barso, and Chas leads the way here, he is the driving force in the band at this point. The audience is completely still, so all of these tracks must have just been released.

Interesting video. Ive never seen a live version of Sweetest Girl until now. Sounds alright without all the synth drums and synthesisers in the studio version. Also the first time I've ive seen Chas on sax!
