Fantastic content as usual Gareth. Thanks so much for helping shorten the dev/learning curve for us newbies! Quick question, do you know a solution using fillout/stripe for have services that have variable prices? For example I'm building a tool for an accounting/bookkeeping firm and they typically charge either per project or on a subscription basis, but the price varies based on project scope. I've yet to crack this nut. I want to pull pricing from the Airtable project table I've built, and send a stripe payment link to the customer using fillout. Any advice?

Airtable forgot about the smaller customers

Love your tutorials! It's sad to see we skipped the All Day event option in the setup. It appears that Airtable supports creating All Day meetings in Google Calendar, but I'm having a heck of a time going the other way. New All Day events created in Google Calendar do not seem to have a way of telling Airtable that they are All Day - rather, Google sends dates, and somehow GMT time stamping gets added, which causes issues visualizing All Day events in Calendar view (interface specifically). Any workarounds?

Q1: Can Documint spit out nice lists of the linked records from other tables? (alphabetic, sorted, etc) Q2: Can Documint make a multi-paged/multi record pdf with the press of a single button? (Button is located in a linked record) PS:"Let's face it. This is the world of automation" was a great line...

Been nice if you gave some examples what you were referring to…4:37 … what abilities you can’t do currently. Little tricky to understand. Are you referring to creating a new table with these records? Never mind it’s explained later in the video.🤪

Can you have linked but not dependant tasks? For example can you have tasks that are on the same day but need to be performed at the same time?

I've created a job posting site through Softr that is connected to air table. How do I automatically send a new job posting(it is inputted on Airtable) to my subscribers on mailerlite? Thanks

Love this, thanks. Do you think there is a way to have an event that is pinned to a certain start and end date and have other things shift around it? For example, if there is a deadline or client meeting that cannot be moved, but tasks can be pushed before or after that one event? If I figure it out, I'll let you know! Thanks for all your vids!

Not going to lie, we completely abandoned Airtable forms. Even the free tier of Fillout is such a massive step up across the board - form logic, styling, multi-step, filtering, being able to add to more than one table at once, etc. etc. - we've just rebuilt everything from the ground up. Having it be directly into our Airtable bases is just the cherry on top. (not a rep, just discovered it a couple weeks back and realized how much of my life I wasted trying to make Airtable forms presentable)

Thanks Gareth. I'm just wondering why use Loom (which seems like a great platform) over KZbin which is free. A url is a url. What benefit other than privacy and no advertising does Loom provide? I can google this, but I just think it's a context that most viewers are asking when they watch. Thanks.

it would be nice if blocks and buttons could also be conditional and not necessarily linked to user groups (since that affects pricing). For example "if post has status of "flagged" , remove button from view".

Can we build a crm with smartsuite and softr?

This is excellent, thank you! One note - this doesn't work with a Gantt Chart extension; for some reason, the Gantt Chart adds an extra day onto a task, so all of my dependencies state they 'start before the predecessor end date.' Do you have a video where you integrate something like this with a Gantt Chart? Also - do you have a video to recreate this where, instead of creating tasks with a "Start Date" and auto-generating an "End Date," you start with an "End Date" and work backwards to generate a "Start Date" - where the dependencies formulas and 'Trigger' Automation still work? I love fillout / airtable. I just wish you could put a table in the form so that my engineers can fill out a table in the format it would be presented in. It would really help! Hopefully that’s an update in the future.

Thanks for the video, quick question. I've built a site where companies can post jobs. When clients submit the 'job posting form' it adds their job to the 'job listing' that all non-logged-in users can see. How do I create a form that allows the companies who posted their job, to see only their job specifically and that it is live?

This worked perfectly - I added in a step to Find Records and repeat the "create record" and "update record" for every person in my team so that they all have recurring tasks. A great solution.

Hey Gareth, can I upload an existing template to fillout and get the output on the actual pdf? Like a w9 form? I'm trying to automate a government pdf and the final result needs to be on the template uploaded.

OK, so that's great if the employee is already pre-assigned to the project or whatever, but what about if they weren't and you allowed her to pick her own projects? I'm having a similar problem where a user is making an action that wasn't already pre-assigned to them and I cant figure out how to make softr TELL airtable "hey, THIS user accepted this project". this is very frustrating.

Can you build it from the start with the Mobil device though ? As a Landscape business owner I don't spend much time if any at my desktop or laptop but most PWA building can't be done with a Mobil device
