3:46 *LoOk GoIs, ThE wOrM sAiD "cRaP" oMg, ThIs Is So NoT kId FrIeNdLy!!!11!11!!* In all seriousness, this short film although it's strange (albeit in a good way), makes it up with absolutely wonderful and smooth stop motion that legit could rival Wallace and Gromit. The way the bird eats things with it's beak flexing up and down must've influenced lots of animators from Pingu. Overall, pretty sweet short experimental irl/stop motion film.

6:06-7:37 was my favorite part. I always enjoyed listening to that music the lobster played. It's one of the best things played in the 1930s. I first discovered this film on a DVD my dad rented almost 20 years ago. I was 13 when I first watched this along with a few other Bowers films that came with the DVD. This was one of my favorites because of that Lobster scene. My favorite of all Bowers' films is the one about oil with those stop motion animated creatures who at the end sang about oil and some song called "I have got something for you to sing"

Oh the ending was (SPOILER) . . . so sad! I didn't want Priscilla to end up in a kill shelter! Someone needs to make the sequel where it is revealed that Priscilla's humans find her the next day and she lives out the rest of her days happily back in her home turf.
