Always love your videos Jessica! I’ve been shooting professionally for decades and the RF 85mm f1.2 L USM is as close to optically perfect as any lens I’ve ever seen!

It depends on what you want to achieve. The 50mm or 35mm would be better for environmental portraits and the 85mm more for headshots.

I like the bokeh diffusion quality rendering of the images from the ef/mk4 combo.a bit more than the rf combo. Seams more pleasing to the eyes.

My wife just recently upgraded from her Mark III’s to the R5’s and she still looks back at the Mark III colors and wishes the R5 had them. Upgrading isn’t always the best, yes you get eye tracking, more AF points, a digital viewfinder, better ISO etc, but as they say if it isn’t broken why fix it.
