I think that people should see the big picture of what the National Day of Mourning is about and not pick apart what someone has done their best to share. What is wrong with society!? This is both a tragic and beautiful reminder in honor of those people who have lost their lives so they are remembered and to give those living the opportunity to think about being safe so they can live. Period.

I work for my city, parks board as a Temporary Garderner… I have autism and at one point I was fired for my mannerisms because they found them to be a concern. I ended up getting my job back but then I was bullied. This caused me to start having panic attacks every time I went to work because the person verbally attacked and insulted my autism for an error that was not mine. 4 days past before I reported the incident where I asked for help from my superintendent. They spoke to the person who admitted they knew they went too far but wanted to claim defamation because they said what I reported they said was incorrect. My superintendent told me they were going to focus on the defamation claim and ignored my request for help. I was forced to continue working while having panic attacks, but my superintendent investigated the defamation claim and I was also instructed to communicate to the person who attacked me otherwise I would be held accountable for not being respectful. I have a text conversation with this person who admitted to me that they knew they were being inappropriate. I broke so far down that I became suicidal and informed my superintendent this. They then forced me to undergo a psychiatric evaluation before I could return to work. The psychologist acknowledged at the superintendent was being completely inappropriate, and that my response to everything that happened is and was legitimate given the circumstances. my GP filled out the documentation confirmed my diagnosis and offered suggested accommodations once I return to work. since returning to work my employer, the Director is trying to hand me a letter of expectation in order for me to correct my anxiety and They have stated that I impose too much on my colleagues, and must find extra outside resources to help manage my symptoms and must also correct interpersonal relationship skills as I have been told that the incident that happened with my colleague was confabulated due to my autism. This is after I had received the OK from my doctor. and since returning to work have not had an anxiety or panic attack due to the fact that it was situational, not mental. my employer is trying to say that the letter of expectation is to help me succeed and be successful and It is a list of suggested, behavioural changes in relation to the suggested supports that they’re offering me, in replacement of the accommodations my doctor provided. I believe that the letter of expectations has nothing to do with my ability to be successful. I believe it is a cover-up, and it is a part of the investigation with the colleague who abused me and by providing me a letter of expectation they no longer have to report the incident as a Harassment situation that happened within the workplace.. Can anyone please help me find support so I can hold my superintendent and the director accountable for discrimination, harassment bullying intimidation retaliation and abuse of power…. I can absolutely prove everything I have said as I have all evidence in writing

In 2021, there were 1,081 workplace fatalities recorded in Canada, 1,009 of which were male, and 72 were female. I cannot imagine a situation this stark for any other group where the imbalance would not be front and center. Not a hint in the video description. That's not straight shootin'.

"I offer every ounce of my support to all the suffering and sick". I believe it is attributed to social media user Alkalus. I borrowed the dialogue from a tribute video that was posted on KZbin

I'm technically an INFP and been working nights for 3 plus years and yes we need isolation to thrive but not 60 hours a week of it for months at a time it throws my mental energy off. I still need human contact. So yeah the affects are bad

Many people do not even stretch. Stretching is important, no matter how young you are (or old), especially if you have an sustained injury.
