Thanks for video mate 🙏 I don´t understand why dji goes to unreal plastic (hdr) look with oa5. It looks the most of the time so bad. I bought one and shoot one video with it. I was so satisfied till I saw how it looks on pc monitor. Great camera for using, but... Maybe they will fix it, because hi bitrate did almost nothing to picture quality, unreal sky, plastic trees, red skin tones... :)

Battery life doesn't matter with the new firmware in an Adventure Combo and overheating is no issue in cold, winter air! I can quickly swap out my batteries on my DJI Action 3 on the fly! And why did you forget to test it in low light/dark conditions? You had 10 chances to do so plus include some quality when zoomed in and the like. Are you still unimpressed with the raw quality of the high bitrate?

So the Action 4 is a better option?

If someone upgrades to a new firmware, can we have a downgrade to the old firmware?

Yeah, been out testing it today. I hope it looks better, I been out mounting the camera to my car to get some speed. Fast moving object should be visible with higher bitrate. Good test👍

Such tests on a still frame are useless for high bitrate. It is designed to be used for fast movement of many small parts, for example, fast riding when descending on a mountain bike through bushes or grass. You can also shoot a talking head at a low value, there is no difference in quality, only the gain will be in terms of disk space and operating time.

is it true of a probable dji osmo 360? that will compete with insta360 x4? do you have more news to make a video of?

I find high bitrate even look worst,it’s like they cranked high exposure or white balance to make it bright color wise but not details wise u don’t get details shown better anyways

So first all you guys complain about low bitrate and agree it was done to get better battery life. Now you get high bitrate but start to complaint about battery life and overheating. Lol

I couldn't really tell much of a difference in the bit rates as far as picture quality on uTube. Did you notice any differences with the original footage? When leaving the camera in normal bit rate did you get the same battery runtimes as before on older firmware? Did it overheat? or was that only in high bitrate mode?

For me I feel like there is big differences in N5 that green leaf is not that compressed, other than that in other clips maybe just the asphalt, just with my screen and my eyes on this KZbin video, so maybe if you are just doing vlog or streetwalking or something just stay with standard, use high with complex environment and fast movement, maybe also at low light environment. Others have also said the 5 Pro with the new firmware is even performing better at night, especially the supernight mode now is much better, but I already return mine don't know the real situation.

I'm still on the fence regarding the ace pro 2 and action 5 pro. But I do hope the ace pro 2 will fix the focus distance issue. There are situations where I need to record in shorter distances than the usual 60cm.

The batteries are not the same in capacity but the original Ace Pro batteries do work in the 2 and vice versa

A 360 camera from DJI? Well yes! let DJI dominate Insta's 360 market. I love the competition from these two, and hopefully, Gopro wouldn't get bankrupt, because we need the original to keep going, and have American competitor.

I must say, that out of all the next cam out cameras, this one does feel like it has big shoes to fill. So it better be. Battery change in size will be unnecessary bollocks. Keep the same physical size. Or make sure this is a beast… thanks for your video fam…😊

The footage didn't impress me. Not the screen being smaller than the camera's width and height. The audio quality is bad. Horrible white noise. But I'm not surprised at this price. Not a product I would buy. I rather save up, buy the best I can. But with second hand action cameras, I don't see why someone would buy this unless the market ti's empty and this is all they can afford
