NBA is a father and son's club. I watched a video of some black basketball hosts talking that people don't want the performance, and that they should remove Mac from the Dunk contest. They said that they should put in old stars and show interactions between them. Everyone agreed and they didn't do it ironically. The NBA is more like WWE now. Look at Mac - Bronny and the Luka Dončić transfer. It's all a show.

I figured this might happen. At the beginning of the game the Magic announcer never mentioned Mac’s name once, yet gave a complete run down of every Gold player not playing including Funk being out with a back injury. The fact he never once said Mac wasn’t playing nor mentioned why should tell you all you need to know. He knows why Andrew Funk isn’t playing but not the star player of the team he covers? I’m guessing Murphy suspended Mac but they don’t want to announce it because it’d be a bad look for Mac and Orlando/Osceola with Mac having such a huge presence for the organization this coming all star weekend.

@@thecagedunicorn I’m sure it was just some heat of the moment expletives. Some guy commented in Spanish on this video that he was at the game right behind the bench. I asked him if he heard what was said but he never responded.

Don't let this distract you from the fact my Lakers paid Bronny James a 4 year guaranteed contract while the reigning G-league MVP cannot get a call up. (same height, definitely not the same game)

Mac is definitely good enough to play in the NBA, unfortunately for him the probability of it happening is dwindling rapidly! Lucky for him his parents have money because they sure as hell dont make enough money in the G league to live off of, unless you get a two-way contract. I know he had a two-way at one point but I dont know if he still does! Too bad his last name isnt James!

That is an insanely difficult shot. Shooting from mid air is different from the ground. You have to compensate for the fact that the floor is not assisting your force behind the ball so you have to shoot the ball extra hard which means you can't rely on muscle memory as well. It all comes down to intense concentration.
