Ziqiu scenes always make me cry. He's suffering sm. Ziqiu is the reason why i kinda hate the korean remake bcs they tone down ziqiu character sm to the point he just more like really a passing by person.

Currently on Patreon, I am on episode 16 and I couldn't agree more! It always feels like my boy Ziqiu is getting the short end of the stick, which is very sad! I cannot wait till it is his time to shine! #JusticeForZiqiu Also, I agree with your point about Hae-jun. His story is definitely not as tough and he does not suffer as much as Ziqiu, but I guess you can only do so much with 16 episodes haha

@bannodesu ziqiu life really not easy till the end though:( the Korean version changed the drama genre a little bit, the romance portion is bigger than go ahead I think(?), That's why ziqiu character seems not that important to them lmao

I really like how cdramas handle a short backstory, explaining things and making you fall in love with characters. This was the episode that made me cry for hours just seeing the dad and hearing what he says about his sons and his feelings towards them.

Haha I am and no I did not post anything. I just wanted to post the latest episodes first (episode 6 will be out tonight or tomorrow morning) and after episodes 7 & 8 I will upload eps. 1-3. I know it is weird but it’s what I decided to do. 🤣 sorry for any confusion and thanks for watching!

I would recommend posting 2 eps a week if you can ofc . When cdramas are airing 4 eps are posted a week on 2 days like Monday and Tuesday because each 2 episodes are connected ❤

I haven't watch family by choice because I don't wanna ruin the memory that I had with Go Ahead. This drama had me crying, smiling and helped me realize many things in life about family. Thank you for the reaction!

I totally understand! After watching Go Ahead (currently on episode 13) I’ve realized it is very different from Family By Choice! Personally, as of right now I like Go Ahead more just because of all the new content (coming from Family By Choice); however I thought Family By Choice was amazing, wholesome, and heartwarming! It is really good! So far I can say I am liking it more than family by choice. A large portion of that is because of all the backstory! I would also say the OST in this in better. Haha.

I know it’s not right to hit a lady but I think his father slapped her because she kept telling that it was Ling xiao who killed her sister. It’s kinda understandable because for a child it’s very traumatizing to hear something like that.

Yeah she kept yelling at the poor kid and hitting him . I think he wanted to wake her up but she found the "excuse " to leave 😅 Abandoning him wasn't the worst thing she has done to ling xiao tho I don't wanna spoil so I won't say it

@@byunbhlove I agree that something should have been done but I don’t know if that slap was the right thing to do there. I can understand why he did it as you said. Both parents were definitely wrong in my personal opinion, and I think it was a perfect way to show that they could no longer work things out and had to move on. Thanks for watching!

@@BtsyearJK2025 yep she was definitely in the wrong and going crazy I just didn’t like the slap, but in the moment the dad was just trying to protect Ling xiao and was probably fed up, tired, stressed, etc. She most definitely used it as an excuse to leave, which makes more sense imo than what happened in Family by Choice. Ooooooo now I am excited to see what happened! I am very intrigued even tho I know I will be pissed when I see it 🤣 thanks for watching!

@bannodesu well the book made more sense. Heeju was not supposed to be kidnap. Saeon faked his death at the memorial explosion. There was more to the Argan scenes but they had to fit it all in ep 12. Ugh!

Eps 11 and 12, 😖. Ep 12 didn't need to exist. It could easily have been 20 minutes added to Ep 11. I'm beefing with producers and director atp😤

@@rahmanansubuga2032 I actually liked ep 11 for the most part but yes I agree they should have taken the last 20 minutes of episode 12 and added it to ep 11 lol. The Argan storyline was just extra imo and because it was such a rushed storyline it didn’t hit the way they wanted it to. Thanks for watching!
