I really like how cdramas handle a short backstory, explaining things and making you fall in love with characters. This was the episode that made me cry for hours just seeing the dad and hearing what he says about his sons and his feelings towards them.

Ziqiu scenes always make me cry. He's suffering sm. Ziqiu is the reason why i kinda hate the korean remake bcs they tone down ziqiu character sm to the point he just more like really a passing by person.

Currently on Patreon, I am on episode 16 and I couldn't agree more! It always feels like my boy Ziqiu is getting the short end of the stick, which is very sad! I cannot wait till it is his time to shine! #JusticeForZiqiu Also, I agree with your point about Hae-jun. His story is definitely not as tough and he does not suffer as much as Ziqiu, but I guess you can only do so much with 16 episodes haha

@bannodesu ziqiu life really not easy till the end though:( the Korean version changed the drama genre a little bit, the romance portion is bigger than go ahead I think(?), That's why ziqiu character seems not that important to them lmao
