They use the exact same switches just one has a box stem, one has standard stem. Fuji hall effect 36g linears

@CactusKing457, In reference to the audio test, the sound appears to be more pleasing to the ear (creamier rather than sharp) when in person rather than through the recording. Maybe it's the mic he used or the way I type. I don't pound the keys, even when gaming, and I have a slower, more methodical playstyle. Same goes for everyday typing at work, as I also use the keyb for coding on average for 6h a day. Even when I type super fast, it feels and sounds more mellow.

@@Mito_44 Not as of what I know, you won't be able to damage the glass with soft skates. But if you are using glass skates it can scratch the surface. (In my opinion the Obsidian Pro skates are almost perfect for glass pads)

The board looks good, but sounds really bad. Spacebar sounds like it rattles out of the box, which is not common anymore in 2024 (maybe this was the norm 2 years ago).

I mean it is a halleffect board, it's never going to sound as good as a regular board. I don't think it rattles that much, it's probably more my mic. All the boards I have tried have similar sounds, wooting sounds worse, boog and drunkdeer boards sound relatively the same. I do like the sound of the polar65 better than the 75 tho, that's for sure. But any Amazon mechanical keyboard like the AL71 and 75 sounds years better than all the halleffect boards. But they don't have rapid trigger for gaming

@@iNullaify Well, this explains why the board sounds bad: "it's a halleffect board". All the boards you mention such as wooting, boog, and drunkdeer are also halleffect boards, and they rattle as well ... at least until you put some effort into modding them.
