A weird echo effect on Sanctuary that's not on the '79 Revisited compilation (which is supposed to be the same version).

Glenn's guitar solo is amazing. What a guitarist. Sooo overlooked, at least in the states. The solo is a precursor to BTROD.

i went to see Yes three nights in a row in 1977 . i left early on the third night and next day went and got my head shaved and became a punk. this is the first time i`ve listened to Yes since then and i now remember why i did that and also remember why i liked them too

Great song. This and Desert Plains are stand out tracks from an otherwise average album. But if this formed the utter metal heaven that followed - SFV and Defenders - then fair play.

I'm not really into small minded Nihilist people. ~You gotta love life for what it is and be victorious in ultimate righteousness. And on and on we go and till we meet the maximum of life. where to from there because here there is nothing new under the sun. You gotta take life by the balls and be epic with no fear. whatever it dishes out to you!

This band kicked ass but much like some of the great obscure heavy metal/power metal bands of the era, they had more lineup changes than a death row firing squad. Still love there work to death though.

I love a good guitar solo so when a song has multiple solos and clive burr on drums I'm very pleased indeed. Denis and Clive in the same band again seems to have been a great combination.

When I was working 3rd Shift and didn't start my week till 11pm Monday, I'd show up at a bar at 8am that had free pool, get a 20oz draft beer for $2, put this on the jukebox, and practice pool to this beautiful music. I think the bartender actually started to like it. I got my $1 worth of music!
