Hello, how to get custom fields created for tasks at the Project for the web using graph or power automate? Tried several approches, planner api doesnt return the custom fields, Scheduling API both v1, v2 versions allow only to make CUD (create, update, delete) actions over the tasks and the project as well. Ive seen via Network that custom fields are fetched by using PSS API but cannot get through 401 unauthorized error (tried by using graph, AAD app). Scenario is to get projects by id and access values assigned to every custom field of the tasks. Can you help me with this?

What is required to try the premium planner in teams. I have a project plan 1 and a A1 license. But the premium appears and disappears in blink of eye in teams when click in new plan
@daveX812 ай бұрын
if i understood correctly no one can read a premium plan without an additional project license? We are using MS Planner for a while and now i tested the premium features but just realized no one can read these plans and its not even possible to add premium plans to team groups (no problem with basic plans).
@WellingtonePPM2 ай бұрын
Hi Dave, team members that are part of the 'team/group' will have read only access to Planner 'Premium' plans, and with E3/E5 they also have the ability to update tasks assigned to them. Hope that helps 🙂
@daveX812 ай бұрын
@@WellingtonePPM I found out already the problem. First finding new plans was just working with searching for his name but even group members couldn’t see it in the list. After they searched for it and pinned them access was fine. But they can’t read the premium tabs (eg gantt) without license. Just basic tabs are readable. You can add premium plans to groups but just by choosing „ms project“. What is extremely confusing is that Planner premium doesn’t exist outside teams. Basic plans are in ms planner web application (and can be migrated there to project) and premium plans are in ms project web application. Even in teams premium plans are in ms project with the only exception the new planner app for teams. That’s why I could never find premium plans to add them to the channel.

Hi, great video. How is integration with sharepoint especially for document management? We use that feature extensively and defined standard document library structures per EPT type. Does Project for teh Web/Planner/Accelator offer something similar?
@WellingtonePPM2 ай бұрын
Hi, there's native integration via Groups/Teams which can be established when projects are onboarded.

Thank you for offering more clarity that Microsoft does for us! One question I'd like to clarify is related to the M365 E3/E5 user set. Can these users add comments to task assigned to them or strictly only mark complete or % complete? The reason we are using Planner vs Project for the Web today is mostly because users CAN today (not on the preview yet) comment on tasks assigned to them. Thank you.
@WellingtonePPM2 ай бұрын
Hi, Yes, users with Office 365 E3 or E5 licenses can add comments to tasks in Microsoft Project for the web.

Is Project for the WEB renamed Project Online Plan 1 as do not see P4W anywhere online.
@WellingtonePPM7 ай бұрын
Hi Carlton, yes that's correct, in terms of Plans there's Project Plan 1, 3 and 5 all of which provide access to Project for the web; however to access the Power App component, you would also require a Power Apps license. Note that at some point in 2024, Project Plan 1 will be renamed 'Planner Premium' as part of the Project for the web rebranding to 'Planner'.

@@WellingtonePPM thank you, Baz. It's a bit confusing as Planner is currently part of Microsoft 365. Plan 1 is an additional monthly charge of USD10/-. If Project Plan 1 is integrated with Planner then what happens with the Pricing and what's the future of Project Plan 3 and 5?
