Bitter sweet memories listening to this song, this song came out just before my first girlfriend broke up with when i was 19, took me over 20 years to get over her i loved her so much, never found another woman i could love as much as her and remained single to this day at nearly 70 years old.

This is so so common that I think we, as women, brush it off. We should warn all our daughters about older men. I think we have been lax about that, thinking that our experiences were unique. They were so common.

Enjoyed the reaction. If you have not heard it yet the song Godzilla is not a waste of time. Excellent guitar in there.

One of my favorite Gomer Pyle shows was the one where Gomer was supposed to drive Sargeant Carter's car from the airport to the base. This could only happen to Gomer. Nice reaction.👍

This is such a creative and great-sounding song. Some have interpreted it to be about self-deletion, but I don’t see it that way. I believe the “I” in the “baby I’m your man” is the reaper himself. I interpret the song as someone with a terminal illness or injury, near the end of their life, afraid of dying. But death (the reaper) is gently convincing the person that it’s not so bad, it’s a regular part of the cycle of nature, and that there is peace and happiness and abundance on the other side.

Good stuff Tasha. Wish all reactors had your sense of humor and fun! Yes, that's his brothers harmonizing in the chorus - you can't miss it. It's oddly sad that Barry, the oldest, is the last of the bunch.

When this song came out I used to be able to sing it. Now I can’t even listen to it without sobbing like a baby.

Please check out her live version of the classic James Taylor song Carolina In My Mind. It also features Jerry Douglas who is one of, if not the BEST dobro players ever!! ❤ You won’t be disappointed!!!

R.I.P. Jeanne Robertson. I think I've listened to every one of her videos at least twice. She wasn't exactly known as a comedian, but rather a humorist and motivational speaker but also at 6'2" was Miss North Carolina 1963.

Jim Nabors marching with those marines in the beginning of his show, were real marines. Jim said later that he never watches that section because most of those guys were killed in Vietnam.

according to an interview Ed Ames gave when the album with this title was released; he stated that he was not giving the answer to these questions but was posing them for each person to find their own answers Just as he was doing. He has many beautiful songs. He was extremely blessed with his singing, acting, and knowledge. He knew at least 6 languages and had college degrees achieved after the age of 40. As one that holds 2 degrees earned in my 20's it is very much an outstanding feat to start college (UCLA) at 40 and earn high honors. I wish I had met him and had the opportunity to discuss many things with him Many of his generation had a greater depth than many now.. His life wasn't always easy but he kept his ideals and integrity from all I've managed to dig up

Tasha, this is an iconic song and the reference to the boys of summer is baseball and then have the fall classic, which is the World Series and deadhead sticker on the Cadillac as a reference to the musical group Grateful Dead

Happy Thoughts - Completely Serious. His specials you could break up into segments as I've seen other reactors do. Daniel doesn't give two FF's like you said and he sometimes takes things right to the edge and then pushes you over but it is truly hilarious. Hope to see more soon.

It’s great to see new generations of fans discovering and seeing classic shows like MASH. The one drawback though for me; and it’s a personal opinion, was you were watching the show without a “laugh track”. When the shows were first broadcast, they had a laugh track for any at all jokes or gags. When the series came to DVD, it gave buyers the option to watch the episode with or without the laugh track. I hope as you go on with the show; which ran for 11 seasons (1972-83), that you’ll watch some with the track, and some without.
