Everything is relative... your left drawing simply has a "cloudy" night... the right one, a clear sky!!! both skies are perfect!!! Like that you can say that the clouds were hiding the sky so the angel came to add a star in front of the clouds!!! 😅

I'm curious. How long did this painting actually take to create? Paint time as well as drying time until the Finish

Hmmm I think around 5-6 hours in total. Sometimes I paint and record the whole piece in one day. Other times I may spend 2 hours a day or so.

How do you get this texture? Is there a certain amount of water to paint so it’s more velvety? (I’m somewhat new to goauche and mostly use it for highlights on watercolor)

Omg omg!! I love the way you painted the first flowers, because I have tried this style of flower multiple times and it never works. I would paint the outline and fill it in but it never looked good. Your method is clearly the way to go! Thanks! Also the entire picture is beautiful ❤
