Fantastic lesson ! I am still trying to wrap my head around negative painting, as I am used to pulling my color out from a dark background. *smiles* ceramics & dry brushing. Thank you for your wonder & looking forward to more. Easter Blessings Darling x

Thank you 😊 I hope it was helpful. Yes, With watercolors you need to go from light to dark most of the times which makes it different from other opaque mediums. And this technique can be a bit tricky. I would suggest exercising it with more simplified motifs to begin with 🥰💕 thanks again 🙏

@Negin is that glove you’re wearing specifically for painting? I’m interested.

As far as I know they were primarily made for digital art & drawing tablets. I used to do lots of digital art for some time. And now I use them even when painting on paper. It prevents smudging and getting skin oil onto the paper. Especially since I have super dry skin and have to use lots of hand cream daily 🥴

They are called ‘Drawing or Art gloves’. Bought mines from Amazon

Good things with these ones are that they don’t cover the whole hand and are in fabric

I have been looking for a hand cover like that forever! My son and me both can’t stand the feeling of paper lol It sounds weird, I can’t explain it other then, it’s metallic cold feeling?

Oh I know the feeling. Just google ‘Art glove’ or ‘Drawing glove’ and you should find many online retailers. I bought mines from Amazon. These were primarily made for painting digitally on tablets, which I used to do a lot. And now I use them even when I paint/ draw traditionally so I don’t smudge or get oil from my skin onto the paper.
