Thank you, sister. Liked your video. My only remark is that you seem to talk alot the the Wolof speakers. You should talk more to us, the Enlgish speakers. The Wolof speakers should know how to cook this already. The second thing is, tell us "I fried this for about 5 minutes, 10 minutes" That would give us an idea. I loved your video, keep it up! Thanks,

Tradition jollof doesn’t require prawns 🍤 in it this is modern jollof rice call it europe red rice you guys put too much of what even your ancestors who invented jollof rice wouldn’t put in it all of these are not really necessary cooking jollof rice should be simply simple but you guys are making cooking it technically technical 19:57

I am sure there are other simple jollof you can watch and benefit from!! so please keep your advice to yourself 🙏🏾…You should also follow your ancestors footsteps by learning how to mind your business,KZbin is a big platform if the video doesn’t match your expectations, simply look for another video that does🙂
@robgordon24184 ай бұрын
@@barrifemmekitchen2282 I appreciate your efforts, but I feel compelled to follow my ancestors' path, and I believe the extra elements are unnecessary. I understand criticism is part of the game, but if you prefer to avoid it, consider keeping videos off KZbin. How about that ?

Try to be more original. This is not the way pastel is made in Senegal.

excuse me i am not senegalese this is the way we make it so please 🙏🏾
@DonDiablo_US6 ай бұрын
@@barrifemmekitchen2282 This is not how it is done in Gambia either. I had Pastel from Dakar, Gambia, and Bissau many, many times. In all your recipes, you add your own twist to them that makes them look awful. I am not African, but I was raised in West and'southern Africa. One thing I know is my food. I've seen your Thieboudienne video, and I couldn't believe how many twists you put on it.
