2:06 I had no idea I could have the build plate move lower than what it auto detects as "home" position and so my Anycubic wasn't levelling properly. I hit that down button a couple times, fastened the bolts and got an incredibly good print at my first attempt. Thanks!

I need a resin that forms a hydrogen bond like glass and water for a medical device I'm developing. This is what causes capillary action. Does anyone know of one?

there seems to be a secret sauce whe nit comes to it because I've had my anycubic photon mono x 6ks for half a year and only know is leveling the plate becoming an issue. It's been a week and still no dice

Hi, there! Do you know the measures of the 'hard' part of the trek50? I know for the lengh it's 22'. I really want to buy it, but want to be sure it will comply with carry on requirements (if not full, of course) - 22 x 14 x 9 inches. For the lengh it's all good, but not sure the other dimensions..

So, there is no diference between the man and women one? Just 5l? The rest is the same? Thanks for the review!!
@ontheroad68419 күн бұрын
The men's is also 4 inches taller and both are designed differently, for men's and women's bodies. However, some people exchange packs and use them comfortably. Like some men get the women's 50 because it is shorter and more likely to be a carry on.

Alright, thank you for answering my question "do I need Tough Resin?" that quickly. I print a lot with standard-Resins, and know how "easily" these parts can break, / literally shatter 😬

When you smell it, then your respirator is bad or your ventilation setup. No smell doesn't mean that it doesn't harm you inhaling it, it just makes it more dangerous 🙄🤦♂

Hey I don't know if you read this comment 2 years later. I replaced my LCD screen and then tried it with the UV test screen. It seems to work for about 2 seconds and then the UV light seems to dim down. I double checked the connection but everything seemed fine?
@TestName2864 ай бұрын
Have you noticed a smell difference? I really wish companies would give us exact chemical composition so we know what's in it just like how FDM is sold. I swear to god most resin companies secretly mix their standard resin and elastic resins in different ratios for different toughness metrics and just call it a day after marketing it as different.

Towards the end of your video when you are showing the reflective panels, there is a black hanging 5 tier pouches attached to the wall for some small storage. It looks like they are connected by rings. Could you please share where you purchased it. Thanks

So for my Photon original, just like this one, I have not tuned it. Since replacing the factory FEP I've gotten mostly failed blobs stuck to my FEP. This is the one detail I have not considered, would a FEP too loose cause that? Cause I'm pretty sure I'm undertightening as I'm tightening about a half to full turn past hand tight. Basically enough that resin stays put without seeping under the rim.

Basically you want to zoom in to the desired frequency and keep track of the peak dB when you hit the FEP using the the green marker

I hope I don't sound cocky, maybe you don't really care about all those details and in that case enjoy your printing time and ignore all this ! but if you do want to overcome your problems read this: your settings and the way you print your models are all the reasons why you have those problems, the fuse of parts is due to the over curing of the layer bcs it was on the bottom layers, you need to raise the model and print it on supports, for the bar, it's beceause your fep stretch out your piece when it the build plate goes up so it ended up crooked, you should never print flat on your build plate or you'll end up with bending, torsion or failure at worst.

It is importatnt to make sure the side-brush module is fully depressed into its cavity (by keep one finger pushing hard down on it against the springs) whilst you are screwing it in.

Hello, thank you for the video. I managed to replace the O-ring and the cleaner is working. 2 rubber rektangulär rubbers size:10x7x5 mm fell out when disassembled, Cannot find any place for them!? Anyway, the machine seem to be working without them. Do you or somebody else have any idea where to put them?

Same here, but I had only 1 rubber left. And 2 screws😂. It works, though. I guess they are a cushion for the bumper. Did you find out where they go?

Don't do what I did... trying to do this from memory without rewatching the video, I tried to get it to the right frequency without attaching it to the vat first. Ended up stripping some of the frame screws and not getting it up to the right frequency still. Wish I had rewatched it. =) The video was really clear and helpful, after I followed the instructions correctly it worked great.

Watching lots of water washable vids. No IPA is a big bonus for me, chemical sensitivity has made me avoid resin crafts. This clear resin would be great for aircraft canopies, headlight lenses etc. 3D printed optics like light pipes?
