A paint stirrer attached to a drill creates a vortex. Perhaps that would be a good way of achieving the vortex without all the physical work and time.

Following these instructions will create weak walls that won’t last and can endanger people. The middle of a stone should be directly on top of the joint of the stones beneath for structural integrity. Harding, small rocks must be carefully packed between the two wall. Soil will be washed away after a few big rains. The middle packing is not seen but among the most important features for strengthening a wall for the long term. Finally, the wall should be built with a batter, a slight inward slant as it rises. These and other measures will help insure that a dry stack stone wall is attractive, lasting and most importantly, safe.

Para la extracción yo uso una centrifugadora manual como la de secar los vegetales, además dañas menos los potes y extraes limpiamente la miel, de ésa manera regresas el cerumen más limpio

Good method but imho one should make the digging area (the trench) wider, 2-3 feet, this makes the digging of the lower layer much easier, less messy, plus as you work less soil falls back into the trench. Plus the top layer he digs out is only a few inches (not a foot), though the basic idea holds.
