The modern Subbuteo name brand products are extremely poor quality, but I imagine these chappies are using really expensive custom equipment sold by independent basement builders. Probably Astrobase.

The figures have all long changed now since the subbuteo of the 70’s and 80’s. The figures the pros use now all have more flatter/weightier bases, there’s no swerving no more, it’s all speed, accuracy and about blocking. I was good as a kid too back in the day, but it’s a different game now, the playing surfaces have all changed too. I’ve just started at a club and am learning the new game (for fun!), although I still like to collect the old stuff for sentimental sake.

Subbuteo is now divided into FISTF and Retro groups...new and old...

Just polish the base of the player and they glide! Just normal polish don't buy special stuff.

How they got them to slide so far across the pitch was to use furniture polish on a cloth & buff the base. I used to play in my school tournament & learnt this technique from a highly skilled player, & it worked like magic!

No perché il contatto c’è ed è netto ma avviene mentre la miniatura del difensore è ancora in movimento dunque è come se fosse fallo del difensore perché si interpone tra palla e attaccante in movimento (come fosse fallo d’ostruzione nel calcio reale) quindi poiché la palla entra in porta viene dato vantaggio all’attaccante (proprio come accadrebbe nel calcio reale) e quindi gol valido, la palla non fosse finita in porta molto probabilmente l’arbitro avrebbe “fischiato” fallo a favore dell’attaccante o dato vantaggio nel caso in cui la palla fosse rimasta in possesso della squadra attaccante. Nel caso mi sia spiegato bene dunque dovresti aver capito che nella stessa situazione, ma con il difensore non in movimento sarebbe stato fallo da parte dell’attaccante perché andato ad impattare contro un giocatore fermo in possesso di palla. Spero di essere stato chiaro (solo con un anno di ritardo)😅😂
