I suppose they could either spend hours traveling the map collecting all of the available tonics or use this method and actually advance through the game playing the actually story line missions and side quests.

buddy its not possible, it just works, i have tried it multiple times without failing. Would suggest you to watch the video closely, you may be missing something. Quick tip: after collecting all three bottles just make sure to save your game just in case fail the trick.

@@divanshugarg_You can do it by holding rifle in hand while consuming tonic and doing a running jump at the same time. No need to jump on wagon.
