Thank you for posting this. My son has almost an identical laptop and he has been complaining of locking out etc. I was going to strip and dust it but I strongly suspect that this is the real problem.

glad to know that, hope the video helps.

Actually, it's the dust that's accumulating inside the fans. I would stake my reputation on that.

Good vid. Would also be a good idea to disconnect and carefully remove the fans and blow out all the dust that accumulated on them, and make sure there is no fluff or dust stuck to those thin fins on the heatsink where the air blows through.

It seems this effective method is beyond the technical expertise of this Channel?

Yeah, I know, should've mentioned that, thanks for reminding me!

I'm surprised Windows even booted on that machine. 4 Cores? Seriously? By the way..., no amount of thermal paste is going to help if the fans can't expel the heat coming from the GPU and CPU. You forgot the most efficient method for reducing heat in a laptop: CLEAN THOSE FANS!
@Drottninggatan2017Ай бұрын
You don't need 4 cores to run windows. It is enough with 1 core.

Those fans were already clean, if they needed cleaning I would have cleaned them.

@@intotech4891 Sure thing, buddy.

@@Drottninggatan2017 Sure, it CAN run it, but not very well. It's like the difference between required and recommended specs.
