Ridiculous playing man. Love it. I’m about to pull the trigger on one of these. My instincts are to go with the sunburst like yours, but I think for something different I am going to go out of my comfort zone and get the gold top. I love the moon inlays…simple. SweetW has them on sale for like $720 and three years no interest. How can I not do it? Great video!
@jamesdaviesguitar3 күн бұрын
Thanks man! Well, I can honestly say, even after only having the guitar 4/5 days- it’s a superb guitar! Literally playing it out the box, no set up and it’s awesome. You don’t be disappointed!! The gold top looks great too, I’ve been eyeing it up also 😆
@SLM1-k5l3 күн бұрын
@@jamesdaviesguitar I changed my mind. I’m going to go with the sunburst like yours. If you have time, can you tell me what color the back is? In pics online it looks black but in some pics I feel like I can almost see the grain. Are you able to see the grain at all on the back of the guitar? Thx!

Do you think this is the best gibson lp alternative out there? Im going to buy a gibson alt but there are many options and im not sure which one to buy. My main concern is the tone warmth and sustain, for lead. Also are these the original pickups?
@jamesdaviesguitar4 күн бұрын
I definitely think it’s a great alternative to the gibbo! The L7 here is all original spec, nothing is modded! Very good for the money spent and the build/sound is awesome I think (even for the money!) I don’t think you’d regret it if you bought one!

You never mentioned the name on the top, Larry Carlton! Sire joined with him for these guitars and he endorses them so to have a legends name on there helps.
