African people were developed prior to the colonisation and the slave era. History has the proof. There were no borders by then. But faith befallen the African people because of self and to many small tribes claiming to be more powerful than the other. Time changed, people changed and we are now living in a new era that African people must now work together to create a united Africa that will defend itself from outside aggression.

Development...... your not developed now, let alone if Europe hadn't arrived. Sorry, but facts are not your friend.

The modern african mindset seems to be: "everything is the wests fault, nothing is our fault". There is zero accountability for their own actions. For example the ongoing issue of tribalism and tribal wars, an issue that holds Africa back to this day, and one that was rampant long before the first europeans set foot on sub saharan Africa

You are so right my beautiful Black Brother, it all began with colonization aka colonialism with the European countries along with slavery in the Americas, the Willie Lynch, making of a slave how to conquer and divide us against one another the house slave the yard slave and the filed slave was taught not to trust each other. They did the same thing in Africa, when they colonized you 😮😢which in your country you are the majority and they were and still are the minority but they are in charge of all your resources even though they given you your independence 😢😢 they also put your own people in power and control them to belittle their own Black peoples of Africa, like they have done to black Americans, in the Democratic Party 😮😢to keep black peoples around the world 🌎 divided 😢WOW 😢SO what we need to do is unite as one ☝️ and come together as one ☝️ and Love 💗 one another. And stop 🛑 calling one another NIGGA, Nager’s. ETC, and degrading our beautiful Black Women, and stop 🛑 using profanity in our rap music 🎼 we are better than that.❤😊

The reason I don’t like being compared to African Americans is because of the cultural differences. We have strong family values, AA women have a problem with single motherhood, they are masculine and make black women look bad. Ofcourse not all but most are like that. I don’t really have a problem with AA men to be honest but the women are just too much.

From my perspective, it’s nearly always the same ignorant thinking and all the more reason WHY it is important that Africans be required to take and pass an African or Black American history class before stepping foot on American soil.

There is a black American who recently said that when he has kids, he will take them to Africa to see how Africans live in trees.,This is a man who has been to Uni and is a Financial Consultant. I do not know what he had been taught in his secondary or tertiary education. I believe that it is self-hate and working for them folks who want to convey Africa as underdeveloped, impoverished and a land of savages.

I agree with this man. Animosity and mistrust from both groups towards each other is alive well. But i feel like its getting better now than before. The Internet is helping to bridge the gap. Just my feeling.

The U.S. has exported propaganda against Black people for centuries; minstrel shows, Birth of a Nation, movies, uneven news coverage. These things have been consumed all over the world, so people come here with their minds made up. Even those of us here have to be on guard not to internalize the propaganda.

i appreciate you sharing your thoughts on this, and for noticing. being someone who grew up struggling with ableism all around me, I've felt quite alienated. at some point it started feeling like able bodied people lack the ability to see the barriers surrounding disabled people. I do feel India and Nigeria share several similarities on this aspect.

Thank you for sharing the truth. This was all by design to keep us divided. I missed out marriage to a Liberian because of fear of going to Africa and living poor. Today my daughter is married to a Liberian-man for 22years next month with three lovely children that are now all in college. The sad part is my son in law’s mother knows the man that wanted to marry me 😮 he became a very rich man in Africa.

Who you lying to? What part of America you live in. Oakland California is a big ghetto. Dam near every black dominated neighborhoods are ran down. The only thing saving those neighborhoods is gentrification. Black Americans hate each other. You think they wanna get to gather with anyone and sing we are the world? What you smoking on? Must be good.

We are not African. We never lived in African.. I consider myself as black American . Mainly because you can't call yourself African if you never lived there..although our ancestors sold us out. Black Americans are Black Americans.. I was born in this country, and I love my country. We have our problems here. And I must say I'm very spoiled to American ways 🎉🎉🎉
