Hmm … okay I like you.. started seeing you after the nazriya nayans video… these sets of videos are good researched ones.. more power to you !!
I wholeheartedly appreciate your effort to shed light on these topics. I have traits of ADHD and I am on the autism spectrum. My brother was diagnosed with ADHD as a kid.
@neerajacr602Ай бұрын
I feel like I may have mild autism,. I relate to many aspects of it, especially when it comes to communication. Initially, I mistook it for fear or social anxiety, but it's not just that. I have difficulty finding the right words or expressing myself, and many other challenges. However, getting a diagnosis has been difficult. I visited two psychologists thinking that there will be any test for this, but they both said it was just overthinking. waiting for ur vedio on autism❤
One of the best ways for a divergent brain to give the typical group a class. The point is that it is pretty useless coz at the end of the day a typical person will only see you as a threat when your brain develops. And they see you as disabled while your growth brain is developing. Good luck in this world where we are not accepted as typical people are a majority.

There is a lot of literature on(if you are interested) that ADHD is often a misdiagnosis or there is an over diagnosis with these conditions. In that sense, all human beings fall somewhere in this spectrum so does that mean everyone is neurodivergent? And she talks about how people who are in the spectrum are able to pick up on others who have it too. I mean, the first indicator or symptom of neurodivergence is usually lack of social skills and not being able to pick up cues. So, there is definitely a research based scientific conversation that needs to happen. The comments section proves it. After watching this every comment says i think i have it too. Maybe you do maybe you don’t, but you don’t get to make that diagnosis.

I really appreciate you talking about this. I really like films or series with neurodivergent characters. It's really good for eliminating the ignorance about that topic. Videos like this would really help people understand their fellow beings a little bit more well. 💜

Hi Viya Thankyou for this one.i felt understood and heard after this. Can you make a vedio on managing finances as a nuerodivergent
@meenamathewloveletgoliveАй бұрын
Thank you so much for the video dear Viya, appreciate your effort. About neurodivergent people understanding people in a flash and about the thick friendship among neurodivergents, i think its your personal expereince and strength. I dont think you can generalise it. Especially when it comes to autists (even those with high functional autism), understanding people and social cues is what they struggle with mostly! And please dont just feel sorry for them, feel sorry for the neurotypicals too who live with their neurodivergent partners or take care of their neurodivergent children everyday! Just a friendly reminder 😊. Because I think today's world has only about 25% neurotypicals! 😅 I myself am confused now, am I a neurotypical or a neuroatypical who masks extremely well?

Just like feminism, the effects differ in different classes. It is hell to be from lower socio-economic strata to live with neurodivergence. Having less space physically. Having less free time or own time. Marriage is when everything comes out. One can mask or manage neurodivergence to an extent as a single person. Once you get married, especially as an arranged marriage and got matched with someone who is not in sync with your bandwidth, you may see your behavior changing. I always feel many angry dads are just frustrated neurodiverse people. They would have been nicer people in a different situation. I think about my situation and then I think about people from lesser social status to have to live with a condition life long. Not being able to achieve in par with one's talents, but always knowing you have the potential. Rich people can make up in other ways. In India we see more of mentally unhealthy people than healthy one's if you observe. And I personally believe that as there is a growing awareness among people about these things, people's ego winning over the reality and many are not willing to work on it and change. So parents with anger issues continue to do same thinking that I won't change, let them manage. Typical Indian mentality of ageism is that no one will take advice from younger people. Without lowering ego, that is with spiritual growth, no social change is possible, even if the awareness or knowledge is at all time high. See the wars and how we are apathetic to it. We thought knowledge will lead us to better times. We now see that knowledge without managing ego is of no use.

@Sush445Ай бұрын
One thing I have noticed is, when people are sad and depressed, they go to a therapist. But people who seek therapy for anger issues are very less. Even though they get angry for small things, they dont try to change it much as it affects other people more than themselves. So even their sorrows or mood changes, if it starts affecting them, they turn it into anger and make others also miserable.

@@Sush445 Yes. Such are the entitled people. And our culture enables and normalises such behaviour.

Before you rationalise. Make sure you let it feel
@sandras7611Ай бұрын
Yeah i think , i kind of deal it as a process, a pretty long process, bcoz most of the time, i burst out into tears without a warning and i struggle a lot to stop crying, but i never could, and its worst when it happens in public....only way out is ...i will let it sink in ....once i start feeling better....then my final step is....viewing it from a higher dimension and then trying to rationalize it.
