both games are great plus DLCs doin 100% runs on both at the moment controller makes it so much easier

I pulled off the Grand Slam right when the game came out of Early Access. I used a team of Barristan, Dismas, Sarmenti, and Paracelsus. That team was somewhat better then, but I think it would still work really well now. Paracelsus is still really, really good. But you want to use Alchemist. Plague Grenade is just a run-winning skill because it almost always lands. You slaughter the General and I rarely had much trouble with the Librarian either. And the team covers all the Mountain bosses well. Barristan is an incredible tank, and his ability to taunt breaks a lot of encounters. Dismas (with the ranged attack path) plus Paracelsus means you can hit the back ranks HARD and that solves a lot of problems too. I've watched people play this game quite a bit. A lot of those runs were with crappy teams, and the common themes of crappy teams are low damage, and a limited ability to hit the back row. Good luck to you sir. I think the previous comp you were using is likely a better choice, but I can understand if you don't want to run it back, given what happened. I quit playing the game for months when the Barristan I used for the Grand Slam, with locked-in Jinx, died on the first DD check after something like three crits in a row fighting the Exemplar.

Hmmmm... the memory-free way of playing has its advantages. Just drop the run when the crew is full of people who don't want to agree on anything and the map is nothing but assistance encounters.

2:54:42 some might call me casual for this, but on DD1 i almost immediately put a mod that allows me to bring any level character, to any level dungeon. Realistically, in a situation like this... i just dont think it makes a whole lot of since for a Veteran Hero to act like they are "too good" to go to weaker dungeons or help out weaker members of the team... it really helped with the grind too...

Loved this game. Might I suggest using 2 one handed weapons? I used mjolnir and another hammer. The combat is a lot faster and you get almost constant stun kill animations. Its fun to watch and makes combat better. You can also parry and block arrows with one handed weapons so you dont need a shield. Seems like 2 hand & shield is what a lot of people use but that combat is painfully slow. When your offline try for yourself. 2 one handed weapon combat is so much faster. Just make sure they are the same weapon type. Then you get a special kill animation that you dont get with a with a sword and shield. 2 hammers were my favorite. Anyway hope you have fun with it. 😊

This has been the easiest that I have seen the party relationships go for you. Pretty nice. Free retaliations, free extra attacks, free heals, free stress heals, and buffing each other like mad. They love each other, they really love each other! Shame it isn't as controllable, unless they changed it and that's why they got up as high as it was. On a lighter note, I find it hilarious how many knives the Grave Robber had to have had for that final boss fight. It's like that scene from Stargate Atlantis, when Ronon Dex needed to throw knives at the controls to their cell, he just kept pulling knives from his clothes, boots, and hair.

If you need better weapons don't forget to play the arcade game in Tanis's area. With the tokens you can buy Butt Stallion Milk and get rarer loot for an hour. The legendaries you will get makes the early levels much easier to play.

All the way back on the Atari 2600 we had "E.T., straight to landfill." Cash grabs and attempted cash grabs have always been there. It's really the money people that cause it -- the same dude who made the worst game for 2600 also made Yars Revenge, arguably the best thing made on that platform.
