A correction to an error I make:
Apparently Templeton was a stock picker billionaire at one point, but gave the lion's share away to religious and scientific endeavors (trying to bring the two areas closer together, I guess). His late years had him pegged as a comfy millionaire, which is the info I found in my little scrounge session.
I've also since read through both Kurzgesagt and The Hated One's responses. Collectively a novella. My opinions have not been significantly swayed. Though Kurzgesagt have acknowledge their citations might be a little weak and could use some beefing up from their fact checkers.
Lastly, my reference to the cure to HIV is about: "...stem cells from a healthy donor whose genome contains a mutation in the gene for the HIV-1 co-receptor CCR5. This mutation makes it impossible for most HI viruses to enter human CD4+ T-lymphocytes, their major target cells." It's possible, still figuring out what makes sense logistically now that I'm streaming on both platforms. In the meantime, they should be available on here wherever KZbin stores stream vods. You'll just have to skip past the video stuff.
