Why will you buy a car without checking the oil filter first? Owned a N20 for almost 4 years now - needed oil change and a used brake booster from ebay. As long you don't tune and change oil every 5k kms you should be fine.

Economy cars are not reliable once they are 25 years old.

Have owned BMWs for the past 30 years and never once had any major issues. Buy a good well looked after one withe the right drive train and look after it correctly yourself and have way more fun than you would with a Toyota Corolla!

quick tip if you wanna warm up the engine at the morning . just start the the car and touch the gas paddle

Totally bs. In fact it seem they dont really have experience with BMW, just repeating craps they saw from Internet. BMWs are unreliable. They are nice to dtrive, but unreliable af, partly because of design flaws (they claim as tradeoffs)and partly due to poor quality. Anyone who claims otherwise is a fake mechanic.

I’ve had every car under the sun and the only 2 luxury that ever gave me issues was my 06 range and 06 7 series but this was almost 20 years ago. Anything I ever bought for run around was non stop issues. He’s kind of right if you drive luxury like they are meant to be driven you don’t really see much issues.

Mate no matter how meticulously you maintain your bmw it’ll never go as far as a Toyota it’s that simple Toyota Camrys made in Japan are known to got many hundreds of thousands of kms in just 4-5 years as taxis, I’m yet to see a modern bmw go past 150k without dumping a load of oil on the driveway at least once

German car im taking it to an exotic workshop. Yes I know I will paying over $10000 dollars within 7yrs ! Maintenance and upgrades for longevity for high quality cars .
