The biggest Easter egg thus far was Cane telling Effie he was not sure if she was still loyal to Tariq. She is! Effie turned heel as a mole for Tariq. They knew they could not locate Noma’s daughter so it was the best move. This is confirmed by Cane’s new relationship with Noma. Also Effie is the Russians preferred contact and they have no problem taking out Noma and the Tejada’s. I think this will come full circle later as Diana and Dru seek Tariq for protection from Monet and Cane citing Diana’s pregnancy as incentive. Also it’s clear that Effie is Tariq’s Tasha not Diana (Lauren his Angela) but that will also be tested when Effie learns of Diana’s pregnancy. Where they all will end up is still a question but that’s where the road will end for Book II
