I know Im super late to the party but ive become addicted to horde frenzy and have so many questions after watching this lol like how you did you reduce your cooldown?? It seems like it takes forever whenever Im the infiltrator

It’s a combination of a lot of things. The cards Laceration, Blood Resonance and the shotgun damage perk makes me do a tremendous amount of damage against bosses and enemies in general. The more damage I do the faster my ultimate recharges. Plus, all enemies on master difficulty have so much health that I can quickly recharge my ultimate from a single boss and other enemies like Scions, DR-1s, Grenadiers, Therons/Palace Guards, Pouncers, Elite variant enemies etc.

Since I use the Torque Bow build as a Gunner, I kill myself to respawn with an extra Torque Bow. However, I first place my original Torque Bow on the weapon locker before killing myself. This prevents me from waiting a while for a Swarm Hunter or Theron Guard to spawn and take theirs instead and prevents me from having to spend 4K of my energy just to buy a Torque Bow that can go towards my perks instead. In other words, it’s to have extra weapons of the same name as fast as possible that are also suitable for the cards I use. People do it all the time when playing as Pilot, Demo, Marksman and sometimes Gunner if they’re using the Torque Bow build like myself for instance. A Pilot will want extra Dropshots. A Demolitions will want extra boomshots and a Marksman will want one extra longshot.

This is the only class I can solo for every map. I had a lot of bad luck with the 2 flying bosses and getting chainsaw. 😂

the easiest way to kill bastions is shooting active boomshots to the enemy they are shielding, the bastion will die with 2 or 3 hits

I knew this for years, but this was a different scenario because this was a solo challenge for me. Yes, the bastion can be killed by active boomshots, but I wasn’t going to keep going back to the fabricator buying boomshots at the risk of being blown up by the Scion shooting his boomshot right at me. Especially when I was so close to getting it done. So I attempted to snipe the bastion because it can also be sniped with active longshots, but I clearly struggled because I was also trying not get blown up at the same time.

@@emanueleioria7523 I appreciate the compliment. Scion Boomshots are unpredictable though. Sometimes they will do a quick 90 degree turn to shoot at me the moment I’m about to attack them from behind. They seem to always go after CQC classes the most and I know from plenty of experiences lol. Also, they can and will literally shoot the boomshot through their body to knockdown anybody that tries to attack them from behind or the side. Those things should not be taken for granted.

By playing versus when it had ranks instead of leaderboards. They’re called master skins because they can only be obtained by reaching the rank of Master. However, these skins are no longer obtainable.

Demolitions, Marskman, Infiltrator, Blademaster, Pilot, Gunner, Anchor, Tactician, Protector and Striker. Imo, all those classes can do some serious damage. Nomad is kinda good with a sniper build, but I barely play as Nomad. I usually use execution cards for it anyway. Veteran is also great against normal enemies, but it lacks firepower against most bosses. Robotics Expert can do some decent damage for an engineer class. Definitely my favorite over the Mechanic. Jack can be great too, but you’d have to be very selective on who you’re hijacking. Cyclops, Lancer Palace Guards, Scion Boomshots and Scion Mulchers are the best enemies to hijack imo. Basically, you can just chainsaw almost the entire wave if you hijack the Cyclops or Lancer Palace Guards as long as you don’t fire a single bullet from the Lancer.

I heard mixed things about Gears 5, is it worth picking up? I'm new to Gears because I owned a PS3 and PS4 but now I switched to PC. I need a Go To shooter because I lost interest in Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Apex

It’s honestly not a bad game as a lot of people love to say it is (mostly people that played at launch and dipped soon after). Versus in its current state isn’t the best, but it is without a doubt the smoothest when compared to the rest of the Gears of War games. Imo, Versus was better when the movement speed was actually faster than it is now, no delays when swapping weapons, wall bouncing was fast too along with taking cover. Other than that, it’s okay. If you’re into PvE then hands down it has the best variation of horde. There are plenty of ways to play that can fit with your play style. While Gears of War 3’s horde definitely has better enemy variety, Gears 5’s horde gameplay in general is simply a more enjoyable experience. Escape is also a good addition to the game. It can be a bit difficult to learn at first because it’s an entirely different experience compared to horde, but there are plenty of tutorials to watch to fully understand the mode.

As much as I love Uncharted 4, I ain't paying $60 a year just to play it when I'm broke; and it's sad that the PC version of UC4 doesn't have multiplayer, so that's why I'm switching to Gears 5. Also I wish Gears 4 was on Steam but sadly they took it down, so I dunno if the multiplayer count died off or not

Very good stuff I'm trying to complete challenges as well but you can actually use your ult on carriers you just need be completely behind them which have done that but when they try to turn around you will do the same when using your as a blademaster I was hesitant to it but trust me it's worth it and the cards I'm assuming your using is 1. Blade Dancer 2. Thrill of The Hunt 3. Brawler 4. Shock Chain 5. Energy Surge

That’s because the old horde modes weren’t designed to be cqc friendly. They made you camp in a single spot for 2-3 hours on the hardest difficulty which was very repetitive and boring imo. Gears 5 gives you plenty of options whether it’s camping in a single spot or you can run around the map killing enemies with ease because the game was designed to be that way. I prefer playing like this rather than sitting back behind cover or boomshields all game long waiting for enemies to come to me when I can simply go after them instead.

Like OP said, it's player choice vs camping your brains out. I love the older Gears, but Gears 5 does have a superior horde IMO, if only for the options. Aesthetically it's another matter...

Amazing. I can imagine if I tried this class, with this map, it wouldn't work like this for me. I have tried solo master horde with Anchor, but struggle to get passed level 7 or so
