Amazing. I can imagine if I tried this class, with this map, it wouldn't work like this for me. I have tried solo master horde with Anchor, but struggle to get passed level 7 or so

@@paulregener7016 I’m mostly referring to playing horde solo. The Flock is super annoying with its ridiculously fast health regeneration if you aren’t quick enough to kill it. Plus, the Leeches it spits out are annoying too when trying to protect taps. The Wakaatu can also be just as bad if it keeps burrowing underground soon after emerging from it. The Matriarch is an enemy I’d love to fight against 100% of the time over the other two. I have a higher chance of killing her faster solo compared to a Wakaatu and Flock combined.

​@@Ultra_Gnasty The flock darts around and moves pretty fast. You can think you have it killed and it'll fly away and leave you behind. Super annoying without a cryo cannon.

This is the only class I can solo for every map. I had a lot of bad luck with the 2 flying bosses and getting chainsaw. 😂

I know Im super late to the party but ive become addicted to horde frenzy and have so many questions after watching this lol like how you did you reduce your cooldown?? It seems like it takes forever whenever Im the infiltrator

It’s a combination of a lot of things. The cards Laceration, Blood Resonance and the shotgun damage perk makes me do a tremendous amount of damage against bosses and enemies in general. The more damage I do the faster my ultimate recharges. Plus, all enemies on master difficulty have so much health that I can quickly recharge my ultimate from a single boss and other enemies like Scions, DR-1s, Grenadiers, Therons/Palace Guards, Pouncers, Elite variant enemies etc.

How did you decide when to use the overkill instead of the gnasher?

By focusing on specific enemies like elite drones, grenadiers, scions, therons and bosses. Elite drones, grenadiers and therons tend to stagger when shooting them point blank with the overkill. Most of the time, elite variant enemies would brush off the gnasher up close and still be able to melee you and make your character stagger for a bit too. Thus, making your stim disappear completely and being at a huge risk of being shot by a different enemy from behind or a juvie sneaks up on you and one hits you. Even a leech can do so much damage in that situation without stim. You’re one shot away from being dead at that point. Overkill definitely helps a lot against elite variants. It almost leaves no room for error. I absolutely use the overkill against scions because they’re just as big of a threat as elite drones. Bosses are no brainer when it comes to using the overkill against them.

@@Ultra_Gnasty oh I didn't know that. So you have to pay a lot more attention than I thought to the type of enemy you're shooting. I'm learning more from these videos, which is surprising. Like I didn't know that you could meatshield an enemy that's not stunned while camoed. I thought it had to be executed. It's a lot faster and saves ultimate time.

Overkill has more damage and also more range, especially when you hold the trigger down to get a tighter spread on the second shot. The gnasher you would use on weaker enemies so you can save the overkill ammo for the big stuff.

I heard mixed things about Gears 5, is it worth picking up? I'm new to Gears because I owned a PS3 and PS4 but now I switched to PC. I need a Go To shooter because I lost interest in Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Apex

It’s honestly not a bad game as a lot of people love to say it is (mostly people that played at launch and dipped soon after). Versus in its current state isn’t the best, but it is without a doubt the smoothest when compared to the rest of the Gears of War games. Imo, Versus was better when the movement speed was actually faster than it is now, no delays when swapping weapons, wall bouncing was fast too along with taking cover. Other than that, it’s okay. If you’re into PvE then hands down it has the best variation of horde. There are plenty of ways to play that can fit with your play style. While Gears of War 3’s horde definitely has better enemy variety, Gears 5’s horde gameplay in general is simply a more enjoyable experience. Escape is also a good addition to the game. It can be a bit difficult to learn at first because it’s an entirely different experience compared to horde, but there are plenty of tutorials to watch to fully understand the mode.

@@Ultra_Gnasty How does the multiplayer compared to Uncharted 4's? As much as I love Uncharted 4, I ain't paying $60 a year just to play it when I'm broke; and it's sad that the PC version of UC4 doesn't have multiplayer, so that's why I'm switching to Gears 5. Also I wish Gears 4 was on Steam but sadly they took it down, so I dunno if the multiplayer count died off or not

Once you max infiltration. It's a cakewalk. 80% damage reduction with stim and the stim capacity. Op tanky

I was hoping Black Steel Sam would return. Also, I would’ve loved to see a Chrome Steel skin for her. Hivebuster Sam and Desert Armor Sam would’ve been a sight to see too. I have BS Sam in Gears of War 4, but I don’t play that game anymore.

That’s because the old horde modes weren’t designed to be cqc friendly. They made you camp in a single spot for 2-3 hours on the hardest difficulty which was very repetitive and boring imo. Gears 5 gives you plenty of options whether it’s camping in a single spot or you can run around the map killing enemies with ease because the game was designed to be that way. I prefer playing like this rather than sitting back behind cover or boomshields all game long waiting for enemies to come to me when I can simply go after them instead.

Like OP said, it's player choice vs camping your brains out. I love the older Gears, but Gears 5 does have a superior horde IMO, if only for the options. Aesthetically it's another matter...
