Faizan Great analysis agree with everything except that the serve is the most important shot in tennis it is absolutely not true. Because if that were the case Karlovic, Isner and Opelka would had played some Grand Slam finals let alone winning one. So of course, the serve is not the most important shot in tennis it is very important though absolutely, but do not agree that it is the most important shot in tennis. In my opinion, the most important element in tennis is who is the best from the baseline. I mean just look at the greatest tennis players of all time (Djokovic, Nadal, and Federer) all were superior from the baseline and hence also extremely successful. And one of them even had a weak serve (Nadal) but still Nadal managed to win 22 Grand Slam titles how in earth did Nadal manage to win incredible 22 Grand Slam titles with a weak serve?? Well because he was a beast from the baseline so this proves to us all that the serve is absolutely not the most important shot in tennis, and Nadal is a fantastic example of exactly that. Also look at this Australian Open final 2025 between Sinner and Zverev. The German is the one who has a better serve than the Italian but despite that Zverev loses 3-0 and is not even close to win this final why?? Well very simple because he was outplayed from the baseline.

@interinteritennis7477 thanks! I get your point, with courts slowing down the serve became less important; however now courts have gotten quicker it's no surprise Novak for example has bulked up his serve and even Sinner. Agreed the serve alone is not enough but I still think it's the most important factor, followed closely by return and baseline ability. 1st serve points won is one of the best metrics out there. This was hghlighted in the AO Final. Someone like Rafa had a weak serve but his first strike tennis was incredible. It's also no surprise Rafa won 14/22 of his slams on clay given it is the slowest surface! He had the weakest serve but had incredible +1 ability especially off the forehand. I should have expanded on my video re my point on serve; I appreciate your opinion and comment!

My prediction was spot on 😂🎉 Jannik played with Roger Nole forehand and Rafa Nole backhand. He moved like Nole but stepped into short balls like Roger. He also spoke with the humility of Rafa in the trophy presentation and then started speaking with the professionalism of both Roger and Nole in his post match interview with Channel Nine. He combined all the elements of the big 3 to have a flawless victory over Sascha.

How can you say you hope that Tsitsipas wins or deserves to win a Grand Slam? There are four Grand Slams every year, and there are players far superior to him. Your wish doesn’t align with the reality of the situation.

wonder how Sinner's victories will be looked upon by the world if he gets banned in April as a Council of Arbitration hearing is due then. The CAS President has already made it very clear in a recent interview ahead of Australian open that Sinner's case was quite serious and a minimum ban of two years to a maximum of 4 years was quite possible. It was also made clear that his case was very different from Swiatek and too serious. Meanwhile Swaitek has already served a one month ban from tennis while Sinner shockingly has gone away scot-free passing on all the buck to his physio and yet wasn't faulted for even negligence. If he does get banned, his aura would evaporate in a minute and the same world will pull him down in no time. What happened in the No. 1 player in Men's tennis and No. 2 player in women's tennis has brought infamy to Tennis as a whole. The ATP and ITAT are to be squarely blamed for this situation.

Djokovic is fatigued and missed his training session after his win over Alcaraz in grilling final so I feel like this time it will be Zevrev will come up with some serious weapons to tackle Novak and maybe he can beat him in 4 sets Or 5 because see Novak looks injured and leg muscle pain puts him behind the winning chances even if even though he can’t winning slam because Sinner beats Shelton if this happens Djokovic can’t able to compete or beat him in any situation because sinner is right Nw unbeatable

Hello Anthony and fans. sharing my thought while currently stuck in traffic (lol). I definitely remember the match between Shelton and Sinner. I sensed that Sinner was in trouble early on, possibly due to his back-to-back wins. I also don’t understand why a medical condition should be disclosed, especially considering that Novak is still in the tournament. Others might see it as a technical move; I believe it's an attempt to mitigate any issues that might arise if he loses to Z. That's just my opinion, though. I'm not in favor of announcing medical conditions prior to a match-the opponent can't do anything about it, and he needs to play with no reservations and no mercy. Z needs to perform at his best, knowing that Novak can compete even with an injury. As for my predictions, both Shelton and Novak will win in 5 sets. Come on!

Shelton would have a better chance if this was a match played in the heat. Friday will be cool and the match will be at night, so even slower conditions. He struggled in the 3rd and 4th set vs Sonego, when it was later in the day, to get his ball through the court
