All the details are in the video notes here > www.pikcells.com/lab/photorealistic-hanging-towel-tutorial For textures you should be able to use the free ones in the Substance 3D asset library like we did, I believe they were carpet textures, but you should be able to experiment with other fabrics to get the look you desire.

The ones we used are from www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/902802?referral=LifelikeForms there's a low res sample version available, which should be good enough for this project.

Hi, very nice work and details. But please stop selling a $30 model for $6.99. You make our work completely worthless. I guess you don't need that sell. You are preventing people who need this.

Not for this one, it was a bit of a research project for us to take a look at Unreal 5 and try out one of our basic interiors. There's loads of resources online if you're looking to learn Unreal though.

Wow, really? $9,600 dollars for the desk shown in the video and on the website a standard large desk is $4,000 dollars? This is a scam, if anyone wants a proper large desk that's also stand/sit you can get a $500 dollar one from ikea called the 'uppspel' for like $650 bucks which is like 85% less than the cost of this and I bet it's better quality even. 93% more expensive for a desk.
@PikcellsUK
@PikcellsUK Жыл бұрын
We're guessing you're not familiar with Wyrmwood’s gear, it costs a lot because it’s all hand-made from premium wood in New England and is feature packed. The majority of the price you've mentioned is due to the sit-stand feature, but our configurator breaks-down the costs so you can see exactly what you're getting for your money.

The displacement maps are available here www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/902802?referral=LifelikeForms They were in our library when we created the original model, our 3D artist thought they were originally free downloads, but it looks like they're paid for items now (though there are some preview samples in that link which may work as alternatives).

this is amazing, a feat of artwork and engineering, but there is no substitute to doing custom renderings, the number of possibilities in design cannot be encompassed by any template oriented program. it is just so limiting. you have 10 light fixtures that all look the same and from the 80s for example. I mean don't get me wrong I love this and your work is amazing but what is the point? this would be useful to whom?
