@@TheDistortionPrinciple Well yeah but then you're just using them as distortion pedals and not preamps. Going preamp into preamp is going to colour the sound of the pedals in a completely different way, sort of ruins the concept

Great video!! Thanks for showing how the song is done! This is one band that put out some super heavy music for 2000 era. Man back then if you told a average guitar player its in G standard they would look at you like you are from another dimension. I remember the arguments i would get into with self proclaimed guitar experts about alternate tunings like this that produce savage bludgeoning sonic results.

I was used 15-80 strings on 24.75" in Drop F# tuning, that was fun. But still prefer 10-64 (from ernie ball 10-74 8string set) with 25.5" 7 string for same tuning

This band is one of the few that was so heavy the band name and musical output matched they literally are as heavy and brutal as a warhorse the only problem I had was they only released one full album and Todd was well on his way to be one of the most influential riff lords before his passing
