I use neem oil all the time. It's not effective on grass hoppers or catipillars.

How can I apply this this to my garden soil where I am seeing all the grub worms . My lawn is thick with moled and voles with such a dirupted grass lawn I can hardly walk on it this year ! I've learned that if neighbors are not willing to treat their lawns , moles and voles return immediately after treatments wesr off the following year . I don't have strength or $$ .00 to keep up . Any help ?

Great tips! Do you have any suggestions for when the break is at the weld where the ring meets the leg when this occurs at the top ring. In this case the zip tie method does not work. I am thinking it may need to be repaired using the same method as where break occurs where the ring joins. I was wondering if there may be any other options.

Yes you can, if you want to add it as an organic matter into your soils to lighten it up.

Why didn’t you add cal-mag to put the required nutrients into the coco coir? Also, why didn’t you pre rinse? All that dirty water is dust and tiny particles are bad for plants. Should have put in bigger bucket and rinsed throughly, then removed surface coir, put in new water bucket, add cal mag, soaked, then pull out either with hands or use a colander.

This is addressed in the video. He states this is a nutrient devoid substrate used for germinating, and will require fertilization (e.g., calcium and magnesium as a buffer + complete fertilizer) if you plan to grow in it longer term. You don't want seedlings in nutrient rich soil until their first true (non-cotyledon) leaves develop as they don't need the nutrients and it can contribute to pathogen growth

Great info, no mambo djambo and straight to the point. The speaker knows what he is talking about, and I can tell, since I have over 100 neem trees and observe them regularly. Tip: If mosquitos or ants are bothering you , plant some neem trees.

I had some older eggshells that I collected because I don’t eat eggs and use now again for my worm bins grinded up, the eggs shells are probable one year old The egg shells are kept in a cupboard out of the sun I tried this technique but I’m not getting any bubbles coming up Is it because the egg shells are not fresh I can’t see what I am doing wrong and I’m using good quality vinegar

if you set liquid calcium just keep it hot, and it eventually turns back into eggshells all glued together.
