You didn’t let us hear it with the plastic pins for comparison.

They never outsourced to Asia,I think the quality is nice but kinda odd,I like the old Light Show guitar.

What counts is the saddle not the Nut but hey, people think the nut is important, its really not the difference in sound is all about the saddle, 100% sure, look in to it, and the pins, well they really mean nothing, look in to it

When I was growing up and wanting to play guitar you had basically 3 chooses Martin Gibson and Yamaha Taylor had just come out and fairly expensive I got the red label fg160 and never wanted for anything else 20 years later it was stolen and it broke my heart fast forward another 20 years and when I decided to play again I waited until I found another Yamaha I own Taylor Martin Gibson but I play Yamaha they have never been more than a few steps from my side

Nice guitar for the price. Very nice tone. I like the guitar's look, body shape and especially the satin finish; looks nice and helps with the tone. Guitar action is not that hard to adjust.

which one would you suggest between the two: Fender CC60s VS Tanglewood Crossroad series. I have heard a lot about fender's bad reputation in acoustic guitars. what would you suggest between the two.

This model is not all solid, b&s are laminate. The all solid model has an S in front of the name. Making it SGJA-SG200. All the solid Sigmas have an S as the first letter in the name. I have the solid model and it’s better than my two Gibsons a J15 and a Hummingbird.

I’ve owned one of these since 2020 and it’s one of my two main gigging guitars. I’ve used it live extensively and it’s a great sounding, solid guitar. The only problem I’ve had was that the nut cracked in the G slot but that was an easy fix. It’s pretty heavy for a long, standing up gig. A friend has a J200 and when we A/B’d them there was little difference in sound.

indeed, tone and volume improved. I am planning to buy this exact guitar and put some elixir strings, ebony pins and a soundhole pickup. do you think its worth the money or should I look up for other models?

I don't think it's cool. The 330 is cool and so's the 325. The 360 though...especialy this shape isn't so cool.

I have an LL-TA. It's easily my best guitar, and I have a collection of 5 acoustics, Taylors, a Breedlove, another Yamaha. The guitar is amazing without any effects on, but the effects take it to the next level. Playing an acoustic guitar with a nice deep reverb without plugging it in is insane.. Throw a bit of chorus on and go Deff Leppard mode for extra fun :p

Fishman rare earth mic blend is the best sounding and most versatile pickup. Fishman and L.R.Baggs piezos are ok. Stay away from L.R.Baggs M1!!!

In this test video and in general, changing the pins makes ZERO difference. I frequently see silly owners stating that they "upgraded" the pins for better tone. I just laugh.

I got a matte black 330/6 earlier this year as I am a big fan of Peter Buck, Pete Townshend and Paul Weller, have no problems with it going out of tune, it gets played more than my Strat i have owned for nearly 20 years

Beautiful but non-functional guitar. Why shouldn't Rickenbacker, along with classical guitars, produce a more modern, more functional line of guitars that can be used in heavy music? Where is that Rickenbacker guitar for heavy styles?
@cugir32111 ай бұрын
Very stiff action even when it's set up low....that's why they are cannons. The piezio pickup is a piece of crap when you play out.....like an ice pick....need to get a 20 band EQ....pull down 16k...I'm going to try elixir polywebs next.

Hey Phil, I truly appreciate your review on this guitar. I'm currrently looking for another one that I can grow witth. By the looks of this one, I felt tempted, yet listening to the actual sound, I just realised after watching your video that there are other acoustic guitars I'm eager to purchase instead. So now I'm clsoing the book to this one and continuing my thorough research. Thanks again. Keep on the good track. M
