i dont know why the The Uncanny Pocket Cannery didnt show for you but its an arctic item for the Pemmican Cookhouse. It gives canned food every 5th craft. Actually not sure how good it is for getting canned food - but it is an extra🤷‍♂

Are you sure you want to proceed with the military operation against Anne Harlow? I can understand wanting to eliminate Willie, I refuse to allow him to participate after the propaganda drops were introduced. But defeated pirates attempt to return again and again. Perhaps it would be more beneficial to befriend Anne and keep her happy with plenty of beer then to chase around pirate ships while protecting one thousand million trade routes. Just a thought. Keep up the great work!

In my country the boardwalks on hiking trails are usually amongst cliffs with lookouts for the view. Maybe would fit more up near your car park area with the boardwalks being better maintained/more accessible to provide tourists with lookout points, and then the trail descending down the mountain to the camping grounds and untouched wilderness/lakes? Maybe the clearwater pool is a contender to replace the robot face in front of the palace? The pool also lines up well with a hotel if you're looking add more hotels anywhere. Train station for the airport would look really good - maybe you could add a hangar/airship maintenance area and cargo area/train depot to the airport as well? I've found the tourist decorations (suitcases and such) go well with the airport. Maybe could place the ornate market building with some farmers markets stalls near the palace? The garden at the end of the episode came out really well. Piers would work near the fishing docks without creating massive queues if you made them advanced and picked a random good to apply to it

This is the episode that randomly got recommended to me by youtube, and convinced me to binge watch your entire playthrough. I can easily say that this is the best Anno playthrough on youtube, and of all 155 episodes that i've watched so far, this one is some of your best work. Thank you for the laughs, the attention to detail, the clever video titles and everything in between. Watching this series has been more satisfying to me than playing the game myself. I don't know how i'm going to cope when I finally catch up or worse yet - when the series comes to an end. Hope you continue with what you do best and looking forward to watching more Anno 1800 or whatever you do in future.

Don't know if im too late here but I think a town hall and/or trade union with the old town pack skin would fit at the castle. Then it gives you flexibility to decorate it as a "manor house" and fill in the space. Unfortunately every other building would cry for a road.

Name the airships after punkbands 😎🤘🏻

You could name those airships fitting a theme like you named islands in artic. Examples include Rock albums or Musics, Bands, Industrial era scientist surnames(Tesla, Edison, Newton) or some letter number combo abomination like what Elon named his son. This will all be in line with steampunk I think

Coming back to episode 1 because I'm 17-18 hours into watching this playthrough and it's really entertaining. Just here to push engagement with the start of the series. Not easy to stay this dedicated to making a single series, thanks for the entertainment!

Just can't seem to maintain good relations with Willie. That's fine, he seems really annoying. The two ladies are cool though. Edit: The one big issue I notice with the UI is how ships are represented to the player. It's messy.

I'm impressed by both the breadth of decorations and how dynamic they are. In most games, they tend to be static.

If you press the . and , keys on your keyboard while you have an object selected (like the hiking trail you couldn't get to face the right way up by the castle, or in a previous episode where you were struggling with the industraik zone water pipes) it rotates it in spot so that you don't have to move the object to rotate

I can really relate to your reluctance to join alliances. I play a lot of Total War and in those games the AI does basically the same thing: beg you to join an alliance, call you into multiple, unrelated and distant conflicts, than peace out after ten turns leaving you to hold the bag. Naturally, the AI will never peace out with you, though. Yuck.

The amount of fiddling around that seems to be required for this game, means I'd likely not enjoy my time with it. Though, watching you play is fun.

I quite like that rail line with the sewers! It’s a very nice blend along with the construction area. Haven’t really used the pipes from the Industrial Pack in my play yet, so this is the first I’m seeing them. Will definitely have to use them now! Oh and I’ll go get that coffee ready gamer! Then I’d like to put an offer in for one of those houses on the hilltop hahaha 😂 🫡

Speaking of tracks, put a railway station near the airport to act as a transit station for the airport goers

Gah, that double lighthouse made me flinch sorry. You should have a single lighthouse and it should be further from the dock and out to sea a bit, near one of the cliffs.

I like that you skipped ahead instead of fully focusing on getting out of the hole. While it was fun to see you constantly balancing on the edge of disaster, it really limits what you can do at any given time. Jumping to a time when you've managed to secure yourself was the correct decision.

That was a close one. Naturally, I did see your comments on earlier vids alluding to this near disaster but it was still fun to watch unfold.

I wish these games had much better tutorials. Really in depth how-to introductions. For those who aren't big players of these games but would like to casual play sometimes.
