Definitely put colorful artisans on the cliff, way less dense with some nice parks in between. There are a lot of cool coastal villages with really colorful houses, in Norway for example. Maybe google something for some inspiration :) Furthermore, that castle gimmick really has a lot of potential! Maybe use some of those dead trees inside, and the way to the castle could be filled with the national park pack?? That eventually leads to the castle?! :D

Don't know if im too late here but I think a town hall and/or trade union with the old town pack skin would fit at the castle. Then it gives you flexibility to decorate it as a "manor house" and fill in the space. Unfortunately every other building would cry for a road.

Yeah, the "crying for things" part is definitely the problem there. I like the concept, I just can't figure out how it would work...

Alright Mike went on vacation and all I got was this lousy castle? 😀 I must say the work done on spooky town using the Eldritch pack was great. I cannot remember anyone else showcasing it. Did you see a new Steampunk cosmetic pack will be available on May 14th?

I know, right? Yeah, I did see it and I was pretty underwhelmed. Then again, that was also my 1st reaction to the Eldritch pack, so.....

I tought about something for an abandonned area : build some houses that will be soon destroyed because there is no road, then you will have some ruins. Problem is the constant ruins notification. I would love they propose decorative ruins.

I actually love that idea..... except for the notification that you mentioned. That thing would drive me insane!
