The best Batman movie and best version of Batman. He was psychotic. It’s like he cared nothing about the people of Gotham in actuality, it was his obsessive desire to destroy the types that destroyed his family life. The saving people part is just incidental. The “let’s get nuts!” Line is really who Bruce Wayne is internally. So disturbed that he’d don a costume and run around fighting crime.

Schumacher Batman films are severely underrated, they’re basically a 90’s campy homage to the Adam West years, and it isn’t meant to be dramatic and like later iterations we got with Nolan’s films, Snyder’s depiction and even Matt Reeves’ film. This is unique whether you like Schumacher’s movies or not. Plus Batman Forever has a Schumacher cut that is a bit darker and adds so much to Bruce’s character arc. I assume it was a good balance that executives nit picked to death.
