Beautiful stuff. I wish I have one in my backyard:) What type permit it needs from the twp? if any? Thank you for inspiring me.

That is a long car. Like a limousine. Must have been pricey. Chrysler New Yorkers never bounced cheaply. The deeper garage had to cost the owner a good bit of money.

Yes, the modern-day SUV's are shorter in overall length but compared side by side new luxury SUV's are taller and wider than cars of the 40's. My 1941 Lincoln Continental looks tiny compared to new vehicles.

Hey Jim I've got a 1948 Windsor with the Highlander interior. My interior needs work though - the leather is very dried out and the fabric on the front seat is torn. Any suggestions on how or where to get a Highlander interior restored?

We hire a backhoe and a crew to pour the slab. The walls are DIY and we installed the beams. The steel beams are salvage from a bridge demolition. Cost: around $2,200

It’s a shame about the damage to the truck, but it’s an easy fix. Just need to go to a big Walmart somewhere and exchange tailgates with a similar Ford truck.

TERRIBLE SHOT VIDEO DID NOT EVEN SHOW THE ENGINE BAY. AND AND DIDN'T PREP THE CAR FOR SHOWING. DIRTY FLOOR MATS AND EVEN THE DRIVER SEAT LOOKED WORN OR SOILED. ALSO THE SOUND WAS BARELY AUDIBLE.

TERRIBLE VIDEO OF A LUXURIOUS CHRYSLER NEW YORKER. A WASTED CAMERA SHOT FROM THE GROUND WAY TO FAR AWAY AND FAR TO LONG. AND THE SHOTS THAT COUNT WERE A SPLIT SECOND SHOT I DO NOT KNOW WHO DID THIS INSULTING VIDEO BUT DON'T BOTHER EVER TO DO ANOTHER ALLOW SOMEONE WHO APPRECIATES THE ART OF VIDEOING A PIECE OF AMERICAN LUXURY FROM THE PAST. MY OLDEST BROTHER HAD A 1949 NEW YORKER FIST EDITIONWHICH WAS EXACTLY THE SAME CAR AS SHOWN FORN 1946 THROUGH MARCH OF 1949 THERE WERE NO CHANGES.THEN THE NEW 1949 WERE SHOWN IN MARCH .
