That is a long car. Like a limousine. Must have been pricey. Chrysler New Yorkers never bounced cheaply. The deeper garage had to cost the owner a good bit of money.

Hey Jim I've got a 1948 Windsor with the Highlander interior. My interior needs work though - the leather is very dried out and the fabric on the front seat is torn. Any suggestions on how or where to get a Highlander interior restored?

That undercarriage is so clean you eat off of it. But I'd rather eat from plates! Beautiful Chrysler! I have a 48 DeSoto.

I had a 1986 Town Car. Nice riding but too under powered. The 5.0L just isn't effective enough to pull around this beast.

It’s a shame about the damage to the truck, but it’s an easy fix. Just need to go to a big Walmart somewhere and exchange tailgates with a similar Ford truck.

TERRIBLE SHOT VIDEO DID NOT EVEN SHOW THE ENGINE BAY. AND AND DIDN'T PREP THE CAR FOR SHOWING. DIRTY FLOOR MATS AND EVEN THE DRIVER SEAT LOOKED WORN OR SOILED. ALSO THE SOUND WAS BARELY AUDIBLE.

This video solved a 50 year mystery! The floppy part of one of those handles was in the garage since when I was a child. I had no idea what it was. I bet my great uncle had a 46-48 Chrysler.

It is not necessary to use Lo on level ground. That defeats the purpose of Fluid Drive.

I saw a 1946-48 C39 NewYorker 2dr. Brougham in Puyallup Washington 25 years ago....should have bought it. Oh well I bought a 8 cyl. three passenger cpe and a 48 T&C convert. Great job on this restoration!
