I watch this from time to time just to get a feel of compassion and dedication and basically and humanity that we so little these days. The people back then cared about people and for the future. All i see today is nobody caring about anyone or anything. Its all about money and politics. The world today haschanged so much. I wish we all could get along be able to live in peace and not have to pay these crazy Disney ticket prices. As i see its more adults than kids and alchol consumption with adults acting stupid in the parks is 😢😂disgraceful

E.P.C.OT.= Every Person Comes Out Tired. It’s a shame that Uncle Walt died in 1966, and EPCOT never got to be what he wanted. It’s a crime how much you have to pay to go to a Disney Theme Park. It’s terrible that the creeps who run the Walt Disney Company are getting away with it. I don’t think Uncle Walt would have stood for what the present management has done to the company with his name on it. 11/2024

Watching this you realize that Walt Disney was essentially Howard Stark, just without the military weapons.

Broadcasting is very 60s (and 70s too). 1940 or 50s was different. I think the 60s background music orchestra was the best of century XX, it is happy and elegant. This video is impresively wonderful.

I just found reference to this film and decided to look it up. Lo and behold, here it is. Is this Walt’s last televised appearance? I know that there were still episodes of the Disneyland Television Series that aired after his death, but, I don’t know when they were recorded.

Disneyland was Walt Disney’s child. E.P.C.O.T. was Walt Disney’s Legacy.

Walt had the same kind of driving force like Steve Jobs. And like Steve we may wonder what would have been had Walt lived another 10 or 20 years.

It’s sad that EPCOT never became the City of Tomorrow that Walt wanted it to be. But the EPCOT dream never died. And eventually, EPCOT became the ever-evolving community that everybody now knows today: a theme park full of potential and possibility.

Walt disney himself said " this idea will never be complete "... he's saying this idea will happen. But it will change more and more based on what they are allowed to get away with and what is greenlit by partner companies.

It's unfortunate that Walter Elias Disney never got to complete his dream. Today, WED'S dream is dead and the spirit of Disney is pretty much dead too! I do keep hoping that his dream will again be reborn. But I'm losing hope l

My god we were once simple, civilised people. It is truly sad to think that the current world doesn’t truly appreciate places like these anymore. Not like they did back then at least. The future looked so bright back then. The way they advertise the current developments whilst making a big show about the future plans. You simply don’t get that anymore these days
