Looking at Neil Youngs smile, I keep thinking about what Robbie wrote in his book "When Neil got on the stage I knew no one at Winterland was feeling better than Neil".

Let’s talk a bit about the Civil war. Now, how many of you truly know what your ancestors fought for? Likely, don’t. Yet, have been very jaded with slavery. How interesting as the European’s were more than experienced At getting their locals to run down and get their slaves from Africa. YEP! But, America has forgotten or dismissed this very important part to American and European history. Yes!
like 15 instruments played by mega pros. so many keys and strings, but the most dynamic instrument mavis fuckin staples!

Richard's verse is easily one of the greatest live vocal performances ever given. When some of the greatest talents of all time are looking around wondering "where the hell is that coming from?", you did good

I was in Fort Worth, TX, in the seventies, I remember things by decades, anyway, I was asked to do a survey at the Skylite Bar to see lighting, sound, and power requirements, it was an old burned-out warehouse that had a bad fire, no roof, it held 5000 people, 8 bars always six deep, Got to meet all the guys, shared some stories, had a great time with them, there golden in book, Robbie just passed, only one left. just thought you would enjoy this story.
