I really think they should have done a recast for Ellie. She is grown up and like 9 inches taller from game 1 to 2. Instead, they have cast a younger/smaller Abby who really needs 30 more pounds of muscle. I'll watch but it's just not the correct path to tell this story right.

From what ive heard this was meant to be released after john wick 3 and the story timeline takes place right after john wick 3. The original plan was that it was gonna be a spinoff show or movie where John takes 1 of the Ballerina Assassins of the Ruska Roma under his wing and helps her achieve her personal life mission of avenging her family who was killed when she was just a girl which lead to her being sent to ruska roma and turned into an assassin. It then went into pre production hell and they pushed it back and decided to turn it into a prequel spinoff that takes place before john wick 4.

All i am going to say is that Abby is for some of us a villain character that you are forced to play as at some point and that she is a golf player. For those who know know. You are in for a real nasty treat those who have no idea about the game.

My cousin was killed on his way back from seeing John Wick opening night by someone who was racing so these movies are always sentimental. Because of that I never want this franchise to die as so long as if they keep the quality. I never got the chance to talk him about the first one but I know he became John Wicks biggest fan that night. I can’t believe it’s been a decade this October!
