What would be a complete list of all the palm gouges I will need to do this type of carving I have several knives would like some quality gouges and I want to order them at the same time. Thanks
@crosscutcarvingsАй бұрын
So drake is very good quality and flexcut in my book when honed and buffed very good are excellent.. for the drake tools I would look up the carving glove guy he should have some tree line for flexcut .. let me know if that helps ..3/16 #11 or1/8 # 11 and 1/4 #8 a1/4” #9 is good aswell but a good knife goes along way if you don’t have all the tools 👌🏼

Nice job all around, I do like the looks of your noses. The part that I am confused is that a pocket knife blade on a wood handle , homemade . Or I might just haven't seen your carving knife that clear, good looking knife it just seems to have an s curve blade. Lol I think I might be seeing a reflection. Thanks for the video. Subscribed

Thank you for the information. I just enjoy seeing and trying all the different knives. Will have to look into this style . Never seen or tried one. I am enjoying your videos. Really liked the one at the carving show. Will try to come up to N. Carolina next year to be at the show. Been carving for around 5 years still have a long way to go.

I greatly appreciate it, the knife is an Allen Goodman knife and the blade was modified upon my request. Allen is a good friend and a fantastic woodcarver along with being one of the best knife makers out there I’m sure if you would like one like I have message him and tell him you like the blade that Jonathan from crosscut carvings uses.
