Everything is going to be taken back by the lawful owners sooner or later. Whoever deals with criminals is criminal himself and will be treated as such. I ask to the Lebanese man: would he like if someone goes now to his abandoned house in Lebanon, and steal it and sell it, and when he goes back, he finds others living in his house. Would he leave them there, or try to kick them out, however it happened that they ended in his own house in Lebanon?? So treat Cypriots the same. They are going to get back their properties, whatever anyone thinks.

Whoever buys properties in north part of Cyprus now, is trespassing other people’s things. Everything is going to be taken back from them and be returned to their lawful owners, sooner ir later. So if you want to deal with criminals, selling stolen properties, then you are criminals themselves and so will be treated as such.

I must highlight that purchasing properties in Northern Cyprus is ILLEGAL UNDER INTERNATIONAL LAW. The region is widely recognized as part of the Republic of Cyprus, and these properties are often owned by displaced Greek Cypriots. Engaging in such transactions is considered an acquisition of illegally seized property and could result in significant legal consequences. It is crucial to understand and respect the legal ramifications of such actions.

Do not listen to this guy; North Cyprus is not your regular recognized country. All the properties they sell they are not theirs or built on land that does not belong to them. If you buy property there you can be arrested by Interpol. Life there is below third world country status. Watch your money so you do not lose your investmnent.

As someone living in north cyprus i would say the biggest problem is they keep changing the requirements. Info that is a year old will not be totally accurate. As of july 2024 the over 60s can now get 5 years by going to Immigration with the required paperwork!

Kyrenia was built by the first Greeks, the Mycynaeans who came to Cyprus after the Trojan War. Its population before the invasion of Turkey were mainly Greek Cypriots. Cyprus is not divided but invaded by Turkey. Turkey has committed genocide against the local Christian Cypriots so that they can create a muslim Turkish state in Cyprus. The Turks have stolen Christian Cypriots homes and villages and changed their names and addresses. They have stolen our Christian churches to make them mosques and they took Greek ancient archaeological sites to make money from them.

thanks for the video and what i want to mention to the people why the prices is lower in North Cyprus besides the obvious compare to the South is like a stollen car that you buy on a good price and you find out that the title is rebuild or salvaged the same is that the titles in the North are exchange titles issued after the Turkish invasion of 1974 when the original title holders and owners were forced out

A good video !!! Prices increase daily. Prices are unpredictable. Food safety is not controlled. Food is highly chemicaled. The traffic is terrible and getting worst Medicine is expensive. Private hospitals are expensive. Emergency services too slow. Prisons sre full with Immigrants who cannot be sent back due to lack of government funds. An incressing number of illegal immigrants have increased crime rates. Drug crimes is on the increase Sea and beaches are getting dirtier. Very bad infrastructure. Daily electricity cuts Low internet connection. If the border crossing closes then your only açcess into or leaving Northern Cyprus is only via Turkey using Ercan. With flights into Larnaca, flights to)from Ercan is expensive compared to flights to/from Larnaca. There is no local transport system. The intercity bus services is literally pre 74 standards Social services isn't a high priority. However, ( a big however) another concern is the title deeds ! Unless it's pre 74 Turkish title deeds, all other TRNC title deeds carry higher risks and the real issues of ownership of property or land. Until a solution is reached, the pre 1974 owner is still the internationally recognised owner of the property or land! Let's face it, only 1 country recognises TRNC and 190 don't! All Private Banks in TRNC don't give mortgages for TRNC title deeds, therefore proving that even Private banks recognise the fact that title deeds issue is a true issue! Money laundering and corruption in TRNC is also on the increase. However, all these considered, unless you have pre Turkish title deeds, all other title deeds are simply too risky to invest your hard earned income.The cons far outweigh the pro's! The recent arrest of a prominent Turkish Cypriot lawyer Mr. A.K. in Rome proves my point! "one cannot claim ownership with exchange title deeds untill the land is purchased from the the pre 74 owner", says 190 countries! With respect, intelligent people recognise that the 'peace intervention of Turkey into Cyprus although is justified ( 1974)' however, it doesn't gve title deed ownership. The days of 'conquering by sword gives ownership' is definitely over !!!

Thank you for this informative interview. Can you please make another interview explaining about whether properties can be bought on trust? i.e a parent buy a property on trust for the benefit of a child? if not, how many beneficiaries can be named under one title deed? Wills and inheritance laws ect ?

I agree with one thing he said they are lazy this is true everything else he’s in a dream! High pollution because of tax on cars. Very dusty to a point that everyone sneezes or cough’s because infa structures are never finished or left. constant electricity cuts like a third world country. Nepotism and corruption very high and bureaucracy is at a high level your be pushed to 3-4 places asking the same thing. Drives you crazy, sewage poured into the sea in Girni . Turkish people driving with no insurance high food costs on par with the Uk. The list goes on and on!! It used to be cheap not anymore and as for customer service with a smile 😂😂😂😂 they have not a clue.
@propertynorthcyprus Жыл бұрын
thanks for sharing your opinion, it's alright if you didn't like the country, hopefully you will find a better (cheaper) place for yourself. High pollution defenitely doesn't depend on the car tax rate (this tax is high here), rather depends on the lack of public transportation. Yes, there are many construction processes going on, so in those areas is hard to avoid the dust (like everywhere in the world). There are electricity cuts for sure and we don't like it either, this problem should be solved after they will extend the cable from Türkiye. Bureaucracy - well, it's not perfect, at the same time it's not the worst. Far easier than dealing with documents somewhere in France for example. "high food costs on par with the Uk" - inflation strikes everywhere in the world, still prices here are far cheaper than in the UK or in Europe.

One question, if you still dont transfer the property on your name and stay under the name of the contruction company, i have to pay squaremeter yearly tax?
@propertynorthcyprus Жыл бұрын
yes, once the construction process is completed. You own your property once you signed up the sale contract, and Title Deed is about owning the piece of land this property was built on (your question was about this part)
