I have found this channel by happenstance. The monotone speech, the near autism level of attention to detail and data, the dry humor... I am in love. I am never leaving. Subbed. Now feed me content, I hunger <3

Did the quests change again since this video was produced? Cause the steam age quest reward for the flawless diamond is now locked behind a quest for diamond ore?

18:05 I think it took me longer to get a fricking bed in TerraFirmaCraft 1.12 I think the first year passed before I got to the point where I could get wool for a damn bed. Compared to that, this was still a speed run xD Granted though, it was also my 2nd time playing TFC after an almost decade long break, so it took me forever to get /anywhere/ to begin with.

Two minutes in and already excited. I wasn't expecting a normal rimworld run, given the other content on this channel, but also wasn't expecting that every five seconds just piles on another layer of challenge, which is especially impressive given how often similar challenges are cheesed with DLC mechanics.

19:32 it's because of what you said at the very start of the video... minecraft did not yet differentiate between dye and item/source, so mods also accept both

Man I remember spawning 100's of villagers trying to get one that sold me a giant sequoia sapling. It's a lot of work, but man those giant match sticks were fun to mess with.

For future episodes... there is an auto-culler for pens. I think its an option on the fence sign? You can set it to keep the numbers down, based on sex and pregnancy and age. Unless thats a mod i use... pretty sure there is at least a mod for it lol

This was probably the most ridiculous build I have ever seen anyone do with Calclavia MFFS. Very fun to watch. :D If you want to make your life easier you could build a "frame quarry". MFFS has a module that allows it to move a force field one block in a certain direction, allowing your force field to basically conquer the world. Buildcraft Mining Wells allow to mine exactly one line of blocks down to bedrock. Combining these two mechanics (a row of Mining Wells that get moved around the world using MFFS), you get a hugely more powerful quarry than your current setup and have probably solved your emerald and osmium problems forever.

26:45 is there a reason you set all the settings for each bill by hand instead of clicking the copy button on the first one and copy pasting? tad weird since every bill looks to be the same just for different parts

I'm not sure what it means but most of the time when you're about to introduce a solution to something I tend to be pretty accurate in predicting the direction, sometimes even exact thing you come up with. Should I be concerned?

I assume the programmed as intended rule is to have a method to figure out what are bugs or exploits. When the rule is implimented in that context, it makes a lot more sense why you wrote it.

21:00 vroooom - only time I've ever had speed like that in my games was when I cheated a fully modded Ender IO armor and stacked speed potions, to uncover a lot fast in a creative world, because without either of those I'd spend half a minute flying through a single biome... As for the mods name: at this point I see the RL as "Really Lucky", because you really gotta be that to have even a /chance/ at getting anywhere. 31:10 kinda ironic, given that a certain bird rearranged the /laws/ of thermodynamics to /suggestions/ of thermodynamics in a different timeline 🤣

You mentioned enjoying playing packs with restrictions - have you considered doing a playthrough of Compact Claustrophobia? I find the fact that you can start using dyed wool to 'draw' on the walls of the packs to be fun, and I'm interested in what kind of restrictions you'd play with.

Railcraft is very useful for automating things, if you're the kind of person who tries to do everything with cheap early game mechanics instead of gathering lots of resources and you're playing a modpack where all the other automation is expensive. You can make an autocrafter that keeps a certain number of circuits stocked in your chest, using only Railcraft automation.

That is the most bonkers way of generating a resource I've ever seen. It's... beautiful. It's art. This the kind of thing that makes me want to talk about it to the like two people I know who would GET how wild it is. Also, your writing is both informative and hilarious, bravo. Algorithm, get this goose to the top!
